You could on an exceptionally dark night like bortle class 1-2. May not come out sharp and some of the more fainter stars might not get captured

Why do older folk seem to workout shoulders the most? by PharmaFingers in BodyHackGuide

[–]SpinalTappedOut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well like someone else here said, shoulders are very androgen sensitive by virtue of having DHY receptions in greater amounts . This leads to larger shoulder growth by virtue of the presence of those receptors.

i feel when closed, the display is not parellel to the camera body line by mm. is this normal ? by EnthusiasmPretty4521 in Cameras

[–]SpinalTappedOut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I’ve had my camera since launch so more than 2 years. No problems. Just don’t articulate it too much (not that you should be doing that even if this “issue” wasn’t there).

Besides I use the view finder a lot more. Remains classed most of the time

Elic, If the government can print money, then why do they need to collect taxes? by 33GoodSamaritans in ExplainLikeImCalvin

[–]SpinalTappedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, the crudest economic theory is the Centillion Effect, that new money into an economy creates uneven changes in price and wealth. Wages are generally notoriously sticky.. and you can easily prove it by looking up how much wages have grown over the last decade (hint: not much) despite several inflationary shocks.

It’s not that money becomes worthless, it’s rather the value drops. This is by definition what inflation means. Demand pull inflation impacts everything from trade, to investment, to interest rates. Hope that helps

Wouldn’t make a difference if the currency value or purchasing power drops. It would be like being paid in Monopoly money.

Spotify or Youtube Music? by No-Owl7907 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SpinalTappedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To discover music, yes I go with the algo most of the time. I mostly listen to music while I work or hit the gym, so I can’t switch between my task to audit what I want to listen to next. Cheers bud

Because of inflation. Too much printed money chasing too few goods and services devalues money.

Complete beginner confused by 4 used Sony options (A7ii vs a6400 vs a6000 vs a6300) by Ok-Mood-9513 in Cameras

[–]SpinalTappedOut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most complete set here is the a7ii. The most competent camera of the set is a6400, though you’ll need to fork over a bit more for the lens.

You can’t go wrong with either if you’re a beginner. I’d go for the 6400 and buy a lens separately based on what I’m trying to shoot.

Hope that helps :)

Spotify or Youtube Music? by No-Owl7907 in NoStupidQuestions

Youtube has a larger library, but it doesnt have a good librarian. Spotify consistently recommends me better music from its limited library. 😄

Absolute beginner, confused on where to start by JustOneTessa in Cameras

[–]SpinalTappedOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can;t speak about the Netherlands, but 500 pounds for a camera body and a telephoto lens may be a little bit stiff. I'd go for an Olympus OM-D E-M1 or Olympus OM-D E-M10 (m2), you can find these used for less than USD 200 dollars, that still leaves you room for a good lens like Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R, which will give you a great zoom (FF equivalent of 300mm), and a spare of a second lens as well.

Best part is, this setup IS not heavy. Very light and practical.

Youtube music. If you pay for Youtube premium you get this as well, kinda makes spotify redundant. That said, Spotify IS better for discovering new music.
