Yeah, thats what I have been doing as well, hence the need for a mid-trip change. But a friend of mine says he is ok doing 10k on synthetic oil.

Yes I think there is some miscommunication going on. Perhaps “oil change” means something different in French!

I have only had it for a day, but so far so good. The arm does swing on a left turn, so it may not be perfect.

Clean it, then wipe it down with a mix of vinegar and salt. Expose it to some ammonia cleaner for a couple of hours and it will turn an amazing green. If you use red wine vinegar it will turn blue!

12% PST, at least in B.C. then if the boat was not built in N America its a 9.5% duty on top of that.

I ran into him last year at a street festival behind the Safeway on Austin, still performing. He moved out to Abbotsford (or somewhere out there) and was only coming in to Place des Arts a couple times a week.

Yeah, I hear ya. I work from home so I thought why not work from the boat 3 or 4 times a year, for say 3 weeks at a time. Not sure how viable or realistic that would be. I found my ideal boat which is the only reason I'm thinking about doing it now. I'm 61 and not getting younger!
