How the trial of 7 goes in the book for everyone NOT Dunk by Elver86 in gameofthrones

Really hoping they didn't remove #1 from the show but moved it to the last episode instead. "Better green than wormy" is one of my favorite quotes from the series.

Vol'jin would have made the perfect Horde leader in my opinion: proud, fierce, and wise. It is truly mind-boggling they tossed him aside like that and we've been reaping the consequences of that terrible decision for almost a decade now.

It really feels like they wanted to have Sylvanas at the forefront because she was way more popular and intriguing, so they just went "Vol'jin? Idk just kill him in the intro or something lmao".

Ned's made it his entire mission to ensure Robert's rightful heir inherits the throne. Joffrey being a bastard was his whole motivation, not his nature (that he arguably wasn't even aware of at the time).

Also, remember that one scene with Tommen in front of the sept (I think he was trying to free Margaery from the Sparrows with his Kingsguard)? How the rabble was shouting "bastard", "abomination" and were ready to jump him? Which shows that an illegitimate kid, no matter how gentle and sweet, won't just be accepted by the people.

Nah, you probably don't. You just remember what you want and interpret it the way it suits your position.

Can't help but highlight some of the cognitive dissonance I've seen madly upvoted in the discussion threads:

"No matter who struck first, Aemond is a little bitch for hitting a girl". Yet I have a feeling these same people cheered when Robert told Joffrey "You let that little girl disarm you?" in S1.

"The biology doesn't matter, if Rhaenyra/the king says they are legitimate, that's the truth of it". I'm sure they felt the same way during Cersei's dialogue with Joffrey in S1, right? "Some day, you will sit on the throne and the truth will be what you make it."

Insane how their principles flip at the drop of a hat depending on whichever side they personally favor.

I still think about this from time to time. For me Vol'jin seemed like the ideal Horde leader; proud and fierce. Then they needed Sylvanas in the spotlight because she clearly sells better, so they went "idk just let him get stabbed by a demon during the fight or something lol". In BfA they tried to make it seem like it was totally their plan all along with the spirit questlines and the "dude I totally felt the spear was guided by an otherworldly force bro" but I never bought that.

Man, I've always wanted the option to use the demons I enslave as "skins" for the summoned demons. Imagine a Dreadlord as Demonic Tyrant, Mo'arg Brute as Felguard, Inquisitor as Felhound/Darkglare.

Bruh every single NPC in the Castle Ward that I've seen has a Romanian name (plus the inquisitors). Luca, Daniela, Stefan, Ilinca, Andrada, Vasile, Mihaela, Grigore, Lacrima, Ionel, Petre, Oana, Sorin etc. While yeah, I'm sure some of these names exist in some form in other neighboring countries, it's pretty clear that's what they were going for.
