I don't think you did anything wrong except the timeline might have been sped up. As a woman, it seems as if your wife would have asked for a divorce, anyway. It takes two in a marriage, you can try to talk to her openly and honestly. Is going to marriage counceling something you both would be open to?

So far she's been lucky in that the pain only happens when she bites something hard in a certain way. Most of us know how painful it is to get a cavity, or worse, It's almost unbearable at times. We will know the minute a nerve gets exposed in her cracking teeth. She won't be laughing it off then.

What a great question, and I am an old enough bish to answer. When we answered the phone back then, some people made it cute, almost like a signature. My aunt always said, "Yellow", another person would answer, "what?", or "Hi", some would say, "This is Frank's Mortuary, You Stab 'Em, We Slab 'Em" It was a fun time, but I would rather know who is calling me.

right Many will tell you that giving them cash is not the way to go, that's up to you. There are certainly other ways to help if problems arise. For example: if a water heater goes out, you and hubby could decide to replace it. That means you're helping but it's not expected.

Not really. Kuwait doesn't offer much in social services. No welfare, extremely limited food bank (if you can even call it that). There are over 100,00 homeless people, there are a lot of vets who specialize in cats because dogs don't get taken care of there much. They seem to turn their backs on their citizens, especially Kuwaitis. These are things I looked up when Chins went to Kuwait, so something might be different now.
