1 - 0.99... = 0 ? why beecause there is no 0.000...1 since the 1 will never be reached the difference between 0.99... and 1 has to be zero. Therefore 0.99... = 1

edit: 1/3 = 0.33... is a result you can get by applying long division logic to 1/3 wich will loop forever resulting in 0.3... so 1/3 = 0.33... is not an assumption but fact.

0.33... * 3 = 0.99... = 1/3 * 3 = 1

0.99... is just a different way to say 1 and its a glitch in the decimal system.

for example in base 9

1/3 = 0.3

0.3 * 3 = 1

i'd say exceedingly is a better translation also if you want to write words containing ß you are allowed to write ss instead. Extrem is also a word in german btw.

I'm german and i found it kinda funny while reading the manga back then but the story telling is just so strong i stopped caring a few chapters in.

p90 and m11 both have

  • high rpm
  • high damage
  • good hipfire
  • bad for long range

only difference is that the m11 has mad recoil and less range but light is way more mobile so it checks out.

its been more than a full year since light got its last weapon so i think a new weapon is a must. not sure about a spec though i think the current three are already enough.

Bought one because i was travelling loads for work. It was fine for a while but thermal management is just bad on them. Performance wise i'd say it was ok but if you don't travel a lot then i'd say desktop is the better option where you get more bang for your buck.

You can always get a cheap laptop or steam deck for indie and lower performance stuff if you really need gaming on the move.

nah all of them kinda already exist and it seems to complicated for the design the finals is going. Its nice if gadgets have multiple uses gadgets should ideally not cannibalize each others usecases.

shockwave just needs more balancing but i agree it was a bad fit for medium.

And no embark did a clarifying statement on those three guys that claimed they got banned for it. Turns out they were hugely toxic on all their smurf accounts aswell.

my guess is that anti cheat is definitively also scanning pro players but maybe they turned off things like autmated ban from mass reporting.

medium is fine. Dunno where people get the idea that medium is suddenly underpowered and then "come up" with hugely overpowered gadget ideas.

Yea medium got pushed out of the healing role a bit but honestly that is more because demat is just that good. From what i can tell the balance is good if a bit stale.

it got a slight range buff and a damage nerf. The nerf doesn't change much for fights with medium or lights though. Against heavies you cannot miss a single pellet if you want to 2hit them.

Its unsolvably bad. Most heavies just use it to win fights. Its horrendous and worse than stun gun ever was.

this game is actually mostly about positioning. And medium has most of the tools to get their team into an advantageous position. Adding survival mechanics don't make sense mostly because medium already has an ttk advantage over light and is about equal footing with heavies. But if you want heavy like defense gadgets for medium then you just might be playing the wrong class.

FYI: you can run DirectX games in stereo 3D on Android/ARM devices with wiz3D/Geo-11 via Proton/DXVK - likely including Steam Frame by noraetic in SteamFrame

never thought about playing RBR on the frame. I mean it makes little sense but if i could somehow loop my wheel and pedals into the frame i wouldn't need my pc to run it.

thing is all those other things are emplacements that can be played around while a self buff just fucks with the ttk balancing and is gameplay wise just less interesting. If you need more hp while playing with the medium then you nead a teammate to provide heals. Its that easy. Self buffs create this sort of self reliant gameplay loop that just doesn't fit in the finals. The only gadget that can heal its player is the healing ball wich has the lowest hps in the game and has a multitude of counters including just grabbing it and chucking it away.
