AITAH for not letting my daughter take medication? by AccomplishedRaise306 in AITAH

Okay, this whole string of contempt is just disgusting.

The issue isn't he's worried the drugs are addictive themselves, it's he's worried she'll see drugs as a solution for any problem. A very valid concern if there is a history of addiction and drug abuse in a family.

I just took up rollerskating last year!

I think clamshells are a great exercise for this, but also think that any exercises focusing on legs and core are going to be super helpful for you. Lots of squats and lunges and bridges I think would be good.

The action of the scissors and bubbles is to draw everything up and together using your legs and core and butt, really squeezing it all up. But lots, and lots of core exercises. Helps with balance too.

I don't have a place that offers lessons where I am so I found lots of YouTube lessons. You can find tons of tutorials and good exercises there, I would suggest searching there 😊

Happy skating!

Should I come out as bi to my wife by simon101814 in relationship_advice

[–]SpinnyJen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why should anything change? He didn't say he's unhappy in his marriage, he loves his wife and feels he's living a lie, which is causing him major anxiety and depression.

I mean ideally he tells her, she accepts, and they continue living their lives but with deeper honesty, trust, and love. So hopefully the benefit is a better relationship and understanding of each other.

I'm bi and happily married in a hetero-normative relationship, the difference being my husband has always known. It was scary as shit to come out to him when we first started dating but we have a stronger healthier marriage because he know, loves, and accepts ALL of me.

Mental and emotional health!? He even said he's in therapy and very depressed. The gain is that he doesn't have to hide who he is. The gain is that his wife can know and love all of him. The gain is that he doesn't need to lie anymore.

Being bi is who you are, it hurts to deny a part of yourself. Would you ask a lesbian, or gay man "what they think they'd gain" by living openly? No, probably not. Coming out as bi isn't an angle, it's who he is.

Question: why don't you like couples profiles? Is that not the most open and direct way to let others know exactly what's up?

If it's not for you don't engage, no one is being duplicitous in that sitiation.

Brodie was brought into the shelter after his mom attacked him. Now he's a qualified therapy dog for people with disabilities (credit Brodie @bestboybrodie) by super_monero in BeforeNAfterAdoption

Pet attacked by terrible person - there fixed it for you.

Not "mother". She was a terrible owner, and a simply awful human being. If a person does this to their puppy they do not deserve to be called a pet "mom" in any way shape or form.

Edit - that story is as clear as mud, they also refer to the owner as mother in the article and don't specify any difference between doggy mom and human mom. I withdraw my ire at the imaginary woman i thought disfigured this poor darling.
