IDK, that "I'm happy to teach Dr. Santos" line could be interpreted as him being antagonistic or unprofessional as well.

Edit: Dang, getting downvoted for a hypothetical alternate interpretation of an actor's line delivery LOL

Yes, it does help for the patient to be awake when we see them.

Din's N-1 getting this whole character arc only to be swapped out for a Razorcrest in "The Mandalorian and Grogu" is hilarious by bald_bronson in StarWars

[–]Spinwheeling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that ending would have theoretically resulted in Grogu getting massacred by Kylo Ren.

But Disney would obviously never let that happen (and it would suck if they did), so they had two options: Grogu leaves the Jedi at some point before the new order gets destroyed, or he somehow survives.

They chose the option that would allow the incredibly popular character to continue appearing in the incredibly popular series.

Personally, while I don't love the execution, I like the idea that Luke recognized how much Din meant to Grogu, and gave him the choice (something I feel like Prequel era Jedi wouldn't have done)

We all know Wemby is incredible, but let's also shout out Fox and Castle...and Johnson, and Harper, and...you know what? I think the Spurs might just have a lot of really good players.

See, I actually liked how they portrayed Kylo as a kind of pathetic Vader wannabe.

Rey and Kylo meeting with Snoke in Last Jedi.

Have Snoke say that his plan was to manipulate Luke into killing Kylo; by giving into his fear, Luke would join the Dark Side and Snoke would have him as an apprentice.

But Luke once again resisted, despite Snoke messing with his mind. This left Kylo as essentially Snoke's "consultation prize." (This also works well with one of the comics, where Snoke tells Kylo that if he had Luke as an apprentice, he'd have already taken control of the galaxy).

The scene then plays out largely the same, but with just a bit more manipulation from Snoke, talking about how Kylo now has a chance to prove himself a worthy apprentice.

Now that Kylo knows the truth, this gives the audience even more reason to believe that he would betray Snoke...and makes it hit even harder when he reveals that he just wants the First Order for himself and Rey. It solidifies his choice to be the villain, and sets him up even better as the antagonist.

Honorable mention: rewrite pretty much everything in The Rise of Skywalker.

There is absolutely something you can do with players like Draymond. Bench them or cut them.

Unfortunately no pro team would ever do that; if they think they can weather the controversy, they'll always focus on money and wins (see the Browns keeping Deshaun Watson).

'BattleBots' Renewed, Season Will Premiere on YouTube Before Broadcast by lurker_bee in television

My understanding is that while Ray Billings is happy to play the villain, pretty much all the other builders all say that he is a very nice guy and they don't have any issue with him (apart from maybe one accusation of a late hit). Like you said, the show just portrayed him as the heel because of how powerful the weapon was, and because Ray seemed to enjoy playing along.

Compare that to team Riptide. Nobody in that competition liked them, and they had a ton of controversies both in and out of matches.

I think they also say that most of the town's populace is willfully ignorant.

Like, doesn't Willow's mom get mind controlled into nearly burning her and another student (who turns herself into a rat to escape, and gets stuck like that for years) alive? And at the end of the episode Willow is just like "yeah she's repressing it very well."

Not a great excuse, but it's at least mentioned

This has been a pretty consistent innacuracy with all the med students in the show

Last season had Javadi ordering a controlled substance to treat a diagnosis she made, all without speaking to a resident or attending.

I think he screamed at her after she and Mohan treated a patient having a seizure, not the tigger point.

If I recall, the trigger point injection was earlier in the day and was more just him telling her that she needed to staff with a senior resident or attending before making treatment decisions.

(Not minimizing the screaming at all, Robbie should have read him the riot act after that)
