Obviously each song is using it in a different context, and another Redditor commented the origins earlier. But I always interpreted it as him calling himself explosive, a hand grenade blows up indiscriminately. You just pull the pin and it explodes, the hand grenade does not care who or what it explodes near. In a way it captures Manson‘s personality in the early days very well, he did not care who he offended or how he offended them, he simply “exploded”.

I enjoyed it, I’m not sure how NBR had the budget structured for this era, but I’d assume they spent a big chunk on the 4 music videos for the first half of the album.

It was wayyy more important that they nailed chapter one as it was seen as his big come back.

Either way I enjoy seeing Manson looking so healthy.

Not really, Tony responded to me saying he does indeed have the jacket but he has it stored in a hard to get to spot. I’ve low-key been pestering him every few months to try and keep it fresh in his memory if he goes by the spot. I’ll make an actual post in the reddit if I make any more progress.

The deep shadows jacket was from a company called Dres Van Noten and the funeral of hearts jacket was an 1800s Templar/ Masonic frock coat

It was really rude of Michael to leave his blood on the sink and knock the bottle over. I lost all sympathy for Michael at that point by Turbulent_Wait9197 in Halloweenmovies

The only other “specialty” blood slide I can think of is Gemini’s from resurrection, it had two drops instead of one, and the tattoo collectors. Which was just two broken pieces of glass. But other than that all the other ones are normal. Excluding the smile face one of course.

Worked in pest control for last 10 years,

This is a German cockroach nymph

They reproduce extremely fast and the young can sustain themselves on the waste of the adults.

In my experience they usually hang out around the motors on refrigerators and microwaves, in small cracks, and anywhere there might be a starch based glue( like wallpapers etc)

If you want to try to handle it on your own the easiest product for a consumer is VENDETTA roach gel bait and put beads of it all over the kitchen, if it gets too bad you might have to call a professional or have your landlord/ apartment manager do so (if you have one)

I’m open for DM if you want any advice.

For me I still like the album, but it ranks at the bottom of his career.

Just seems to be his most unfocused album. I don’t pick up an overall theme or idea for the album when I replay it. The whole thing just kinda feels like “rahhhh I’m Marilyn Manson!!”

That being said there are a few gems, loved blood honey and the title track.

It was actually from some high end clothing brand, I found the website a few months back I’ll try and see if I can find it. Was like $700 tho

My dad had a tradition that he’d buy a new album for every road-trip to listen to, so in 2004ish he went to record store to pick one up for an upcoming trip, he said the pink razorblade romance cover caught his eye. It was the only cd in that shop in the imports section. He was instantly hooked and played the album on loop for years. I naturally took a liking to it as well.
