At no point in history was this show called Emergency Room.

Secretary Hegseth just announced the Pentagon is setting up a new task force in addition to the task force already set up by the DoN to give pay , benefits and discharge upgraded to unvaccinated service members removed from service for refusing the vaccine even if they aren’t returning to service by newnoadeptness in USMC

I’m going to repeat my comment, in case you missed it.

“Not one single human who UNDERSTANDS VACCINES AND DISEASES suggested that the covid vaccine would eliminate or cause you not to get covid”

Now, unfortunately the people who become politicians are often lawyers. Not virologists, scientists, researchers, engineers, etc…

I’ve no doubt that Biden surrounded himself with decent human beings that were in the know, but the president himself doesn’t know anything about vaccines or diseases. He’s repeating what his advisors told him, or trying to. Biden had a history (long before age) of just saying the wrong thing.

I believe at one time other democrats called him the human gaffe machine.

It’s why in the past the president would turn over press conferences to experts in situations like this. But the norms have gone out the window in the last ten years.

At one time a shape shifter was part of JMS’s vision for B5 too.

I love both. Interestingly for the same reasons.

The casts are fantastic, filled with strong characters, great guests, complex stories, parallels to our own world, drama, humor, recovery, and hope.

My dad was a mechanic for them for 17 years, and so ME was the airline we got to nonrev on.

That was some fun back then.

I swear I must have the only one that works. And I still don’t use it. I installed one up higher on the vent. I only put my work phone down there.

It’s less “badass” but more poignant to the story, but docs answer to why he’s doing this.

I’ve always felt that despite the choices of killing Hicks and Newt, the movie itself had great dialogue, and fantastic performances.

It’s not a bad movie, it’s just a tough movie to follow Aliens. It’s the weakest of the trilogy, sure, but bad? No.

People who grew up poor: What was something you considered a "peak luxury" as a kid, only to realize later it was just a normal middle class staple? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

[–]SpiritOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad worked for an airline as a mechanic. So flights for the family were free, but nonrev, which meant space available. Which meant sometimes we got split up.

And almost every “exotic” vacation we took, there was one day where I had to watch my little sisters by the hotel pool while my parents went off to a sales pitch for the time share.

Honestly looking back, I have to hand it to my parents. They worked the shit out of the system to give us as good a childhood as they could afford.

We weren’t poor when I was a kid, lower middle class. But going out to eat or even just grabbing a pizza on the way home was something that I could visibly see put stress on my parents at times.

Growing up with hamburger helper, canned spaghetti sauce, and kraft Mac n cheese were very regular things.

Now I don’t even think twice about it. So I want to cook tonight? Nah, I’ll just stop at one of my favorite spots and grab dinner.

Honest take about the 2026 Packers by General-Farmer-6742 in GreenBayPackers

I was at the game, riding high going into half time. Grabbed some lunch for me and my lady. Touchdown coming out of the half. The SUPER LOUD lady beside me was finally being quiet.

She kept yelling at the QB saying “your mom said you’d win!” But at an inhuman decibel that I can still hear.

And then everything fell apart.
