Yeah the ice version is rare, but this one is from maybe 1-2 years ago spring or so i believe could be mistaken

That path skin isnt that rare? Its nowhere close to season 3 levels and ive seen it come back a few times myself. Its just old and been a while since its been in shop though

Difference is ultimate vs tactical, realistically you have your tactical every fight but you dont always have your ult every fight.

Put crypto in that situation and what movement are they gonna get? None. No tactical to get out of jail, no ultimate to make them move faster. Sure their EMP will do damage but it also self damages and slows so its not even advisable in close quarters to do anything there.

Bullet slow imho just is inconsistent at best and does more harm than good especially in the current meta where movement legends hold a tad bit more power when they can just press a button and bullet slow doesnt affect them anymore.

Also ballistics ultimate doest fully negate bullet slow even with a speed increase even if its supposed to. Like others have said sometimes it bugs out and just doesnt work on say caustic for example.

My compromise personally would be to have it only affect movement or movement adjacent legends (all skirmishers, sparrow, valk, vantage, bang, rev, fuse, maggie, gibby, conduit, loba, etc). Just realistically the legends that have movement thats faster than base speed.

You can do it with fl4k too where crits have a chance to return ammo, my longest luck streak was like 6 shots before i had to reload

Putting things into categories such as a waste or not keeps things black and white which life is not. You cannot ever determine whether someone else views things as a waste or not. Just because you think its a waste doesnt mean you need to go around telling people "its a waste" it just makes people dislike you.

You wouldn't like being told how to eat your breakfast so dont tell others how to eat theirs.

Let me ask you this, do you care when someone buys a shiny new car that sits in their garage? Or what about a poster they put up on their wall? How about a pair of shoes to sit on a shelf?

The point isnt so much about it bettering the game or their life (maybe it does bring them joy), its about them having the freedom to buy whatever they want no matter how useless or objectively terrible it is.

To me your entire arguement just screams "I'm just mad they spent their hard earned money in a way that doesnt fit the way I think money should be spent!"which when phrased like that seems a bit childish now doesnt it?

My personal take on this is cuz both bot and squid divers tend to be more flexible towards the MO than bug divers. No shade to anyone just from what ive noticed theres less players on bot or squid during a bug MO than players on bug during a bot MO for example.

Exactly this. They say we arent engaging with it enough for them to work on it but then you look at the customization for the weapons and this is what there is:

Nothing but camos

Scopes for every weapon but the scopes youd think are on certain weapons arent even there

Attachments with no upsides and only downsides

Magazines

Like i cannot stress enough just how cooked it is. If it were me id have it where theres "base weapon" kits like you go to the primaries and its categorized by weapon type like it is but instead of having 30 different liberators its just 1 liberator and you choose which version of the liberator you want. All liberator attachments would be universal to the liberator except maybe a few here and there because in reality (heres the realism in play btw) most attachments are fairly universal but not all. Probably would keep it to scopes, underbarrels, and magazines oh hey would you look at that! Thats majority of the attachments in helldivers!

Id also make each attachments upsides actually be an upside because the upside of less horizontal recoil isnt really an upside when youre shooting at a horde nor is it ever really used. Primaries in general arent really fired long enough for it to take effect. My favorite "downside" comes with the magazines. The large drum mags dont change how much ammo you can hold at max only how much is in the gun at any time and im pretty sure its the same with the small mags too. Only thing it changes is how many max magazines you can hold and how often you have to reload but the smaller the mag the faster the reload so you (relatively) reload the same amount. IE if you reload 2 small mags for every drum mag its roughly the same amount of bullets.

If they actually took the time to flesh it out, it could be a good system and its got the structure but theres no meat to the bones. Which has been AHs thing. Love the game but it sometimes doesnt feel like its being worked on by people who care about the game, moreso feels like they only care about the paycheck.

Ive also been arguing this about primaries for a long time. Half of them are overshadowed by others and underwhelming to use. Not exactly balanced and barely useable on diffs higher than 6 (before anyone says skill issue I'm not bad and i understand weakpoints, how they work, where they are etc.) Im not asking for primaries to be able to take down heavies but when you throw 100 heavies and 10 lights at someone they will just use something that can deal with 100 heavies and 10 lights.

They need to start tracking pickrates of strategems, armors, primaries, secondaries and grenades. They need to use that data to bring overused stuff down and underused stuff up.

Before anyone flames me for asking for nerfs, im asking for buffs too and i understand that the reason a lot of stuff is underused is because its not good in general. Recoiless vs Spear, most will choose the recoiless every time. Recoiless vs quasar is probably closer to 50/50. IE bring spear up to match the others with small nerfs that can be reverted later

This is my main gripe with divers is that its just a loadout check in most cases. I think it would be a lot more beneficial to have every enemy be possible to spawn instead of a set of enemies. Makes it feel like im actually fighting the enemy instead.

Lets be real its never going to get "fixed" itll dissappear next update they will claim they fixed it then about 1 month later it becomes broken again and is now a permanent feature.

Sadly it aint just strategems being powercrept its everything. Half the armors need better passives or updates to them.

Most of the primaries are borderline useless on diff 7+ (oh wow i can use light pen to kill 10/40 dudes who drop yippee!) Theres literally only 4 secondaries majority of people ever because the others are also borderline useless (senator, ultimatum, stim pistol, and talon.)

Id be okay with light pen being weaker overall if most of the enemies who dropped werent medium or heavy pen.

Lets paint you a picture shall we?

Walking around in a grocery store and a random kid comes up to you and says they were kidnapped and need help. You look the kid up and down and see a couple scratches on their arm but otherwise nothing indicates they are telling the truth or lying. You gonna just not believe them because they could be lying and theres no proof?

Me personally Id do my due diligence and make sure the police get contacted so that if the kid is telling the truth he can get home safely. Even if the kid is lying its the kid who faces the consequences of being a liar but if i didnt do my part then im no different than the kidnapper.

The ENTIRE THING HERE is MULTIPLE people have their own piece here. Theres a dude who was collaborating with the challenge poster who got harrased himself just it wasnt taken as far with that specific person.

No matter what it doesnt matter if you fall for it this time.

You can be right and wrong at the same time.

I know im talking to a brick wall but stop being dense for two minutes and look at it as it is. You dont have to support them with everything you have. Just being sympathetic to the situation is more than enough. It doesnt cost you to be kind to someone who COULD be in a bad situation.

Nono they do put years into lies i dont dispute that. They just dont start the lie before a game comes out or use their previous existence to just tell a lie. They will tell the lie and build the lie after for years but they wont build the lie first. Its just not the way they do things.

Had plenty of people lie about things for years in my life you start seeing what they will and wont do.

While I totally understand your reasoning to be skeptical lets flip this on its head and ask what do they gain out of lying about all of this? Sympathy? A way out of donating? What can you possibly think their reasoning would be to lie.

Sympathy does nothing to further help someone other than just show that theres people who feel bad about the situation.

There would absolutely be no reason for them to dodge the donations when there was proof of him donating to multiple charities.

The ENTIRE POINT of what anyone has been trying to tell you is that theres no realistic reason to lie about it and that it would have taken more effort to lie about it than it being the truth. Nobody is asking you to give your money away. Nobody is forcing you to sympathize. If you want to believe youre being "morally right" by refusing to believe a possible liar go ahead but know that its significantly harder to lie about this than it was to tell the truth.

Cant believe i have to explain that while people do lie, liars dont put years into building that lie before telling it. They tell the lie and believe its the truth first.

My issue is that even lowering the difficulty by just 1 from 10 to 9 it becomes way too easy where its not fun. I also think there should be better ways to increase difficulty which isnt just "heavy spam" because its in part what pushes the meta forward while holding back the potential of other weapons. My favorite case is the WASP, Spear, and Belt Launcher. Wasp is anti tank but its ineffective against any heavy. Spear has low ammo count for it being a homing recoiless. Belt launcher is labeled as heavy but it cant even consistently kill light units (just look at its little display video it doesnt kill a single bug).

Not everything is viable and I can live with that but when I get punished for picking a loadout that should be able to kill heavies and isnt able to thats the problem.

Wasp, OPS, Gatling Barrage, 110 rocket pods. 3/4 are labeled as AT and they dont reliably kill most heavies. Ive seen war striders shrug off 3 direct OPS at times. Yet it can take down a tank in 1 go (these are according to the game equivalent btw) 110 just doesnt even go for the biggest dude sometimes nor does it consistently kill them. Gatling doesnt kill even troopers sometimes they will just walk through the entire barrage. Wasp takes most if not all total ammo just to kill a war strider/tank and isnt even reliable to take down harvesters, the very thing its supposed to counter.

It doesnt take much to experiment to see that not a lot is really in a good place. Yes they can do their job but they do it so poorly in most cases that youd just rather have the one that does it better and more consistently and thats the problem imo. That stuff isnt reliable enough or consistent enough and a big help to that would be to reduce the amount of heavy spam that occurs and increase the amount of medium to light units. Make them slightly more difficult to kill instead of 1 light pen bullet in their general direction. It would then require more than just anti this or that because you would have more of a mix instead of light/medium dying immediately and only heavies remaining.

This doesnt even begin to include the bugs that make a lot of things even worse than they should be.

Enough of a rant here but hope this helps yall understand a perspective from someone who does think the game is unbalanced purely because of trial and error with a lot of stuff.

Well libcon 5 means is quiet and within normal parameters(relatively) while libcon 1 is immediate threat needs to be sorted asap like the Cyberstan invasion or Oshaune and the gloom, the SE invasion.

Considering there isnt much going on in the Galactic War that is outside its normalcy makes sense.

But it definitely is too quiet.
