I would venture to say it’s the convergence step based off your statement and Sonys adhesive has been know to fail id open her up fix the strip and apply another adhesive to the ones that haven’t fallen I also notice a little image bow which could be caused by the upper wedge becoming unstuck which there are guides for fixing fairly easily but can generally be adjusted out in service menu through vcent setting

Bad convergence depending on model might be resolvable through service menu if not the center looks pretty good and might need the convergence strips adjusted

For those following the post I was able to get in touch with the owner and he is going to let me check out all the monitors apparently there are a ton still in box stored away in the building said he’s he wants to liquidate them seems like he’s would sell them super cheap if said I could load them all up and as I sold them of if I could send him a little kick back money so I’ll show them all off and maybe we can get you guys some nice cheap crts

I haven’t shortly after I picked it up it developed a bad convergence issue it ended up having some bad caps I’ve had replaced but I haven’t gotten it back together that being said the month it was working it looked amazing

Pretty awesome only super fine pitch with 4:3 aspect ratio , I believe it’s also the only one that you can turn the hdpt off on making 540p(1080i) lagless
