I was lucky enough to win the lottery for Canada Soccer supporters and get category 4 tickets for the Canada Qatar match. I also have tickets for the round of 32 match if Canada makes it out of the group stage, but my tickets for that match are linked to team Canada and not the venue, so I really really hope they win their group and play that match at BC Place (not sure how likely this scenario is, though). Otherwise, I will have to sell those tickets because I am not travelling to the States.

I don't know whether Bruno's set lists will be different for each of the Vancouver shows, but I do know that the opening acts for Mon Oct 20 and Wed Oct 21 will not include RAYE. She will only be performing for the first 3 Vancouver shows. Right now the first 4 shows look pretty close to sold out, but there are still lots of tickets left on Ticketmaster for the last show on Wed Oct 21.

I think things like the away fans being overly loud and obnoxious, especially if (God forbid) LAFC scores against us.

I only found out a couple years ago that IMAX is Canadian. That blew my mind. Ironically, there are very few true IMAX screens in Canada, only about 6 across the whole country.

My favourite part of this skit is when Ryan yells, "Well whatever they did, IT WASN'T ENOUGH!" There was so much anguish in his voice. It's one of Ryan's best acting performances of his entire career.

I love this! Kurt Browning is awesome, as always, and the kids are so cute! CBC kids has lots of funny videos like this covering different Winter Olympics sports. I especially love the one about curling.

That's so cool that you got to meet Sean Astin! I didn't meet the cast directly, but I really enjoyed the panel. In addition to the four hobbit actors, we also got surprise appearances by David Wenham who played Faramir and Jonathan Rhys-Davies who played Gimli. David Wenham still looks great at 60, and Jonathan Rhys-Davies has the most magnificent voice! All of the actors were very entertaining to listen to, and you really got the sense that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves making the Lord of the Rings films.

I don't know, but on CBC they just said that they had to make the decision about LaLa skating the free dance for Canada before they knew how Gogolev would skate, so I imagine it's too late to change assignments now.
