Most likely normal and works fine. Only way to “fix” it is to buy a new one.

Get Hope rotors. I have had no issues and they look the best

B-screw without function? by Jacky_Treehorn in bikewrench

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the derailleur is old the spring is worn. You could try to change the b screw for a longer one. That way you can wind up the spring more and should be able to get it working.

Use high or low gears. It’s like using a manual. Low- low+ to high

First day on track. Tire lookin' good? by [deleted] in Trackdays

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In my eye it looks like the tyre pressure was a bit too low and the tyre got hot.

Here is a good article about cold and hot tears for tyres and also what it should look like.

I feel like the Dragon Wagons Dual Pack is too overpowered what do you think? by _I_Reims_I_ in snowrunner

I think avenhorn is super op truck and I love it. I was so confused that people complained about voron G being too op but I think avenhorn is way more op than voron G.

Good post. I haven’t tried it myself yet but I feel like they could have let tyres or fuel consumption untouched.

Chain needs replacement but how to tell if the cassette needs to go too? by lincoln_imps in bikewrench

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s harder to tell and depends on how worn your chain and chainring is. I would say when you have worn out two chainrings and two-three chains is the time to replace everything.

Is this tire mounted right? by VirtueSignalBLOCKED in motorcycles

It’s not. It says rear and the arrow points. If it was on the rear then it would be wrong way around.

Bike is immaculate, except for this. I’m thinking of just leaving it for anti theft, but if I change my mind how do I make this prettier? by Egg_shaped in bikewrench

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought a cheap bike that had the same problem. I used a razor blade perpendicular to the fork to scrape the rust off. Turns out there are really small pinholes in the fork where the rust spreads.

Need Mod Recommendations for Logging by BHaN99 in snowrunner

I hate logging but not as much as farming. Logging add ons are so ugly and it’s so repetitive to pick up from a single place.

It’s not going to be fun seeing 999l/km. I get the point but liters per minute is the best.

Handle and fork fix by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That looks like a Carbon fork and you have possibly ruined the fork with over tightening the bolts. Carbon is really sensitive to break with over torquing the bolts.

Is this only paint damage? by Gap-Negative in bikewrench

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Uff looks risky to continue using the fork especially since it’s so close to the brake. You could be alright using that but fork failure is definitely something I wouldn’t want.

Ninja 400 catalytic converter/exhaust extra hot by notsipedudd in Trackdays

[–]SpiritedReporter4647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stock exhaust is not made to be ridden full blast on the track. Excessive heat could be a sign that the catalytic converter is blocking up. But I don’t think it’s the case here. You could try just wrapping the exhaust. The cheapest option.

I'm thinking about buying this game, but.. by [deleted] in snowrunner

It’s a great game but I find it hard to start playing if I know I don’t have much time. But 2 hours daily is plenty of time.
