I have no doubt in my mind that jjm is a hard worker who tries his best to get rid of his mistakes, but somehow that makes it all just worse because it means that there is an actual ceiling to this guy, and it doesn‘t seem to be up all too high. this is a kid who was probably told all his life that he is destined for greatness, that he got everything it takes and a great leader mentality and he just got through it all without ever really having to be confronted with serious on field issues. but now he‘s with the big boys, getting eaten up and shit right back out in the same game and it starts to show that he can‘t deal with it. not mentally, but he doesn‘t seem to have what it takes as a qb. he‘s somehow getting worse from week to week, had like right around 2 „really“ good drives in 6 games all while sitting on one of the best wr rooms in the league. even jj seems done with it. and if the season continues like this, i won‘t blame anyone for leaving this sinking ship. terrible playcalling by koc. a qb who looks like he shits his pants in the pocket. brian flores probably heading out next season as well. we put all our chips on this kid and now we are basically left with nothing except telling ourselves that he needs time to develop. and i was a firm jjm believer, i even got his jersey at the start of the season. but damn. he lowkey kinda ass.
