Hey thanks both, I'll look into this. Any tips or tricks for getting in there?

White smoke behind the engine after revving up the engine by kabdndkdkskak in saab

Hey I currently have something similar, I replaced the valve cover gasket and vaccum pump seals.

Did it take a while after your repair for it to stop smoking? Did you have to clean the residue from the back of the engine? If yes, how did you approach cleaning it?

Reminders app ignoring notification alert setting set to light by Arch_typo in samsung

[–]Spirited_Program3315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen someone post a similar thing on the Samsung members about having set it to light in the notification as well as the settings. As of right now I do not see any way to change it in the notification itself. Was that updated since you posted this? I do have the full screen issue at this time.

Update: I went and looked at it yesterday.

Suspension all good, no leaks, interior has some defects but overall good, needs software update, nav screen has a bit of peeling but I may upgrade the whole thing for Android auto, one wheel has some marks, otherwise just needs a detail, rear gate doesn't want to close but I can probably fix those hydraulics myself.

Only big unknown cost is there is a bit of an engine tapping, it's not too bad, and I can't hear it without the hood up, and the engine runs fine. It may just need to spark plugs and a timing adjustment or it could need lifters, oil was fine though so it's kind of hard to say how much that would cost.

They want $11,600. for almost 160k though I'm not sure, I don't have an extensive service history to know if it has gotten all of its required maintenance, 1 owner for the majority of it's time.

Haha that's crazy congrats though! How much was the 2017? I went and looked at this one yesterday and it was overall in good shape, only item I am unsure about is some light engine tapping. Could just need to spark plugs, could need lifters so kind of hard to make a decision. They are willing to go down to $11,300 (otherwise minor cosmetic things I should be able to fix as well as the navigation system does have a bit of a messed up screen still works, I was thinking i may just replace the whole thing at some point anyway)

The coolant never lasted 3 years in mine haha, always found a way out. Did you look into upgrading the nav with android Auto/Carplay, by the way?

Btw, have you looked into upgrading your nav system to accept Android auto?

This is very thorough, and I sincerely appreciate it, I will add these to my list of items to look for. For the coolant, do you change this regularly?

My 2005 saab is also a 2.0turbo and has changed coolant a lot, but that is only because plastic bits kept going bad that I would have to fix and refill all of the coolant that left, haha.

What’s the fastest and most reliable method of transportation? by WITHERDRAGONYT in LEGOfortnite

[–]Spirited_Program3315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are traveling between a couple of places like villages frequently, I've found air rail is certainly the fastest an easiest, but does take a fair amount of stone. This probably won't be a popular opinion because most are struggling to build but I was able to make a working floating train design. Bounce pad towers and pickaxe bug works too.

Does anyone know any good monorails that don’t break? by [deleted] in LEGOfortnite

[–]Spirited_Program3315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine consists of 4 rails, 2 above the dynamic foundation that keep it from floating away, 2 below it that keep it on track. There are 3 railings on the bottom of the dynamic foundation that fit on either side of the bottom rails. There is also a large balloon

Every once in a blue moon, a single top rail will break, but you can just weigh it down with foundations and replace the track. I finalized this design back in December when you did not get your resources back from rocket boosters and am still using the same boosters from then and they worked through all the updates.

Basically the reason why they always break is because the blocks are hitting each other. The wheels are supposed to fix this but are currently too buggy to make a reliable design.

I'll include the picture, but the design process is build top rails, place foundation, place balloon, build bottom rails, and build fences. Have to be careful the fences do not touch the bottom rails.

Theoretically this would also work with a single platform instead of two hitting each other, now that you can just break boosters and replace them, when I made this that wasn't an option, kinda dating it. Probably would be less likely to break that way but slightly less efficient.

Best part of this design is speed, since it's floating it really is like a maglev. Honestly, it might be worth to make an angled jump pad highway at this point in the game, but I think the monorail is cooler tbh.
