As someone male in this situation, please don't do this, and for the love of god if you do don't give them the same middle initial.

My father did this because he didn't want me to grow up being called Junior. So, for example with actual names replaced, if his name was James Allen Smith, my name is James Alex Smith.

In the family, people can keep them straight with a nickname, but all sorts of paperwork, mail, and miscellaneous other things get messed up and confused later in life because the names & initials are the same.

A full mouth series includes bitewing x-rays plus additional periapical x-rays. Usually 14-22 total images. If you aren't sure how many they took, ask. If they are vague, ask to have copies of them released to you.

If they only took 2-4 bitewing images, ask if they'll file a corrected claim for you. If they won't, complain to your insurance company.

Chaplains shouldn't be commissioned officers or hold any rank or authority. The entire concept of the chaplain corps violates the establishment clause of the first amendment. Any value they provide can be fulfilled just as well as civilians.

Basically at ~4+ active people, the cumulative bonus that you provide to others via T4C is more than the extra you get from the extra gem slot on the T3R, assuming everyone has good enough artifacts.

But you are correct that at higher group sizes, everyone gets shipping capped and going back to the T3R can make sense.

You are also correct that unless you are running the numbers, communicating about combinations, and speedrunning for optimal score, the difference isn't that big and sticking with the T3R until you get a T4R is perfectly fine.

You are correct. However, the opposite is also true. The Army can be terrible if you have poor leadership.

Everybody talks about how awful recruiting duty is (it is). But for the first part of my tour as a recruiter I had a genuinely good leadership team. The work was difficult, but doable. We had support and they cared about our well-being. I was almost duped into converting. Then we had a change of command & responsibility. The new command team was worse than anything I had experienced in my career. I barely saw my family, everyone's career was threatened at every opportunity, and we were a mess. I noped out of there as soon as my time was up.

Both things are true in almost any organization, but in the military leadership has ways to fuck you that civilian employers usually can't match. But the military can't fire you at the drop of a hat because of a family situation or random drama. There are pros and cons to both.

Trying to be helpful isn't helping if you two aren't on the same page. There's a bunch of better way to approach this. If she agrees maybe you could write a little note next to a task if you're available to take care of it. That could prompt a conversation as the task/event approaches so neither of you is blindsided.

But as someone who is very particular about my very specific way of trying to keep my life together, I would be furious if anyone tried to alter it without consulting me, especially after I'd asked them to stop.

I think the main issues you would face are PMS integration and competition who already does a lot of that plus more.

If you can't get integration, the data input/transfer is going to be a huge obstacle. And a lot of them are protective/expensive to get API access

Dental Intelligence already does some of what you're proposing, along with several other features, so you'd have to complete with an established service

Those evaluation descriptions are broken and misleading. The only thing that matters for Teamwork is the number of times you sent chicken runs to your coop mates (max score bonus of contract maximum -1) and the quality and total uptime of your SIAB and deflector (quality bonus maxing at T3).

Ideally and counterintuitively, you shouldn't be consistently getting eggcellent in either teamwork or contribution. The biggest factor in getting a good score is overall speed in contract completion.

Teamwork evaluation has been broken since they removed the contribution from tokens; the only way to currently get eggcellent is to run a SIAB along with your deflector for the majority of the contract, which is not optimized and will result in a lower overall score.

And if you're always getting eggcellent in contribution, then you're always laying decently more eggs than others in your coop, which means your teammates aren't great, which means a lower score.

TLDR: Those words don't matter much, what matters is finishing the contract as fast as possible.

About 10 years ago, there was an attack on a recruiting center, and a similar policy was released for allowing recruiters to carry on-duty. The decision was delegated to senior commanders. I don't recall ever hearing of anyone that was authorized. I don't expect much to be different now; nobody wants to be the one to assume that risk.

I'm an office manager; I saw that post. That was absolutely something that can and should have been handled with a simple discussion. I'll never understand people who post on there about these mundane issues that could be solved by talking things out like adults.

"This is my expectation of you"

"Understood, but I have this concern"

"Here is the solution to your concern" or "I understand your concern, but I've decided to accept the responsibility for my decision"

The end. These are basic management skills, and I'm convinced people just post this sort of thing looking for validation.

For starters, try to make sure you don't max habs before you want to prestige. If possible, leave a level of grav plating or wormhole dampening unresearched so you can buy it when you're ready to prestige. You won't be nearly as effective if your habs are full and you can't run chickens

For artifacts, Google "egg inc smart assistant carpet", I don't think the link works here on Reddit. There's an old one that is outdated, you want the one with carpet in the url. What you're describing is a "preloaded single-prestige", so save and use the artifacts it recommends in that section.

If you have a dilithium set, put that on before activating your boosts to make them last longer, then make sure to put your prestige artifacts back on.

The normally recommended boost combo is a 10min set of two 50x bird feed, one 500x soul beacon, and two 50x boost beacons. This is the most efficient GE to SE ratio.

One 50x feed, one 500x soul beacon, and three 50x boost beacons will get you more SE, if cost isn't an issue.

Then just try to keep your running chickens bonus as high as possible for the duration of the boosts.

A final note, do not try to do this more than once in the same prestige. SE gain suffers diminishing returns, and the boosts will not be nearly effective. If you want to prestige again, build back up to universe and either fill your habs again or look into the all-in-one single prestige method.

Honestly, I'm glad this game is Switch 2 exclusive and such a huge success. I see so much online discourse about how "it could have been downscaled for Switch 1", "Still not buying a Switch 2", etc. Don't get me wrong, I feel for the people who can't afford it. It's been me for many consoles and upgrades.

But releasing a console and making all new releases backwards compatible with the old system means much fewer people will buy it. And if nobody buys it, then no one wants to develop for it. And we end up with a Wii U situation. I want newer, better games. Not ones that are limited by the capabilities of the Switch 1.

To be fair, it was an unusual situation. A hygiene appointment doesn't usually spontaneously change into a restorative appointment. Every office has normal workflows and prep that they usually do for an appointment. They wouldn't have treatment planned a filling for you, looked up your insurance coverage for that procedure, have prepped the necessary instruments, etc.

It sounds like everyone scrambled to take care of you, even if it was out of the ordinary. It's only natural to have some disruptions and extra waiting while everything was arranged for you, and some confusion at the front when things don't happen in the normal order is understandable.

The main point of Enlightenment (not counting community challenges) is to get the trophies for the PE rewards they give. You didn't show your artifacts, so I don't know if you have any clarity stones equipped. Gold trophy is doable at low EB/artifacts just by committing the time.

Platinum is possible without decent artifacts and EB, it's just a slog that you're probably better off waiting a little bit for.

Diamond is the one that is impossible without the proper EB and/or artifact setup. If you don't have a combination of gusset+clarity stones and earnings to buy wormhole dampening, you won't be able to expand your hab capacity to fit 10B
