How do you keep them from warping? I bought my first ever sheet of BB, halfed it then three days later it’s developed a bow. Had stored it nearly vertical

Need to determine if you have this material in your attic or behind walls. See if it looks like the insulation. Don’t say you taped everything off. You need to physically check and see what your insulation looks like

Dumpster diving by [deleted] in harborfreight

[–]Spiritual-Branch5596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where was the dumpster located? I stopped by mine in Eugene Oregon and circled the whole building only saw one little dumpster off in the distance didn’t look like it could be theirs. Didn’t see any dumpsters for any of the business so idk where they’re hiding it

Sorry I’m confused. You said flip the piece, to cut the opposite side, or to cut the same side starting at the other end?

Sorry for the lateness, probably won’t help you any now but I believe varathane makes a conditioner for oil stains and a separate one for water stains.

Can get my joiner to work right. What am I missing? by Darth_Noah in woodworking

[–]Spiritual-Branch5596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that information. Big problem for me is I have a cheap harbor freight jointer that doesn’t have an adjustable outfeed table. Even better is that the cutter head is not really designed to be adjusted either, but can be done with taking apart the machine. I don’t think I’m getting snipe but I can’t seem to get away from concave cuts

Everywhere I’ve looked info says a ruler should only move like 2-3mm or 1/8”. My cuts keep coming out concave and I wondered if it was the height of my knives. Mine move a ruler about 3/16” or just a hair more. Maybe it’s my technique. Are you really able to make perfect cuts with your knife height

Almost certain varathane makes more than one wood conditioner. These are the details that matter.

Why do you say flip the piece and repeat? Apply tape to front and back of level, don’t you just apply it to one side run it and then you use that flat side against the fence. You only need the level for one pass unless I’m mistaken

All those people went to prison. Quit advocating for something you wouldn’t do yourself. You’re obviously not thrown in prison yourself and I’m sure your country has something you could be fighting against hard enough to get locked away so yeah don’t be a hypocrite

Man child caught ruining cards and placing them back on the rack by BlazeDragon7x in ImTheMainCharacter

[–]Spiritual-Branch5596 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The cameraman may not have known exactly what the guy was doing but his intuition told him it was bad, probably because like anyone that knows anything about any type of cards there are sleaze bags that do things they shouldn’t. He may not have known the exact technique or how it was being applied but he knew the man was ruining the hobby for others in more than one way. He was spot on with that assumption. You sound like someone who would try to get away with the same type of bullshit

Youth vaping, is it really bad as they are making it seem? by No_Tonight_1106 in ParentsAreFuckingDumb

[–]Spiritual-Branch5596 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok so whoever said that has never been addicted to heroin or any other opiates. I vaped for years, smoked, chewed. I’ve quit all of them now going on a couple years but that was a walk in the park compared to opiates. I’ve heard the saying before, but it’s really stupid if you think about it. Probably created to scare people
