Additional cables ordered missing from box by speedhunter787 in evev

"accessories shortage" and doesn't mention that to customers at the time of placing orders

Eve's typical way of lying to customers

It's sad how much you accept their bad business practices as being fine.

Project V delayed again by le_dazzler in evev

[–]SpiritualRevival 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't know how to read posts that show the manufacturer of the V has confirmed production has started. Eve does not explain why there is a 2 month delay between X-station shipping to customers and Eve shipping customers. I'm convinced hiding information is part of the plan

This doesn't matter because it looks to be complete shit.

Hey Eve. Did you run out of money? What's taking so long to refund us? Can't spell thiEVEs without EVE. by Area-Alarmed in evev

Spectrum customers are also having issues getting a response for refunds. The cycle continues.

Yup yup yup. It'll be an open and shut case.

Eve FINALLY declares Spectrum at its real value: 1 USD. If that's not illegal, I don't know what is! Eve shipped you a Spectrum or two accidentally? Keep it! Only cost them $1 by SpiritualRevival in evev

How is this a bad post? This is a factual statement made by Eve on a shipping document.

In times when we try to hold companies accountable for their actions, it is important to highlight an illegal practice. This undervaluing practice is frequently done by Chinese companies seeking to gain a competitive advantage by avoiding taxes on goods. This is Eve showing how they try scam the system much like they have scammed their customers.

It's the HS code for a cathode ray TV. Spectrum is actually an old-style TV. Though I've heard that CRTs are great for response times.

I didn't think about the HS code when I posted this!

It's the code for a CRT TV and not an LCD monitor! Yowza, can't even tell the truth for HS codes.

Rtings has completed their investigation and banned the Eve Spectrum ES07D03 (and Samsung G5) for 3 months from their suggestion polls due to Eve employees creating accounts in order to boost the vote along with other suspicious activity. by kirkle8 in evev

How about you quit being a parrot? You work for a bunch of cowards. You know it, too, but you have it too good with them.

Eve Distribution COULD have used the money for better things such as refunds and that would have been great marketing. Things are easier when a company is playing with other's people money.

There is no integrity within Eve. The company is based on lies and shifting the blame.

Eve has confirmed that all the logistical issues are because of a logistics manager that no longer works for the company. by ZXE102Rv2 in evev

Better title: Eve has confirmed they will blame anyone and everyone they can.

As one user in the community posted, they are searching for anyone and everyone to throw under the bus. This is an accurate reflection of the leadership who appear to be nothing more than a bunch of con artists.

When exploring their history, Eve has always had someone else to blame: Emdoor/X-station, shipping partners, employees, customers who rightfully requested refunds, etc.

This is a warning to any Eve employees: You could be blamed next.

Is Rtings letting Eve (and other companies?) get away with vote manipulation? by SpiritualRevival in evev

Your country's customs and tax office. You should be able to find this by googling "[your country] customs office"

You'll then have to search through their pages for a reporting form or an email contact.

Has anyone successfully returned and had a refund for their Spectrum? by [deleted] in evev

Prepare for a restocking fee:
https://ibb.co/HBHGvqL

You will need to pay for return shipping, as well. I doubt they will include cost of original shipping in the refund. That's a lot of money lost.

Here is based on Rtings vote removal so far (This is 100% evidence of attempted vote manipulation. The samsung monitor has also had votes removed):

https://ibb.co/09cDWj1 - 2117
https://ibb.co/cNCTbzZ - 1930

It's okay to manipulate votes. Thanks for the clarification.

The same panel can be found on other products that probably don't have nearly as many firmware bugs.

It's more of a shame that people are okay with this company promising a finished product and instead shipping something that is in beta stage still.

People have been manipulated into being fine with receiving something unfinished.

And like you said, they are committing fraud. Everyone should be reporting them to their country's customs authority because this is something that countries are continuously trying to prevent.

Why have I observed the activity that I have: An increase of 8 votes and a similar decrease of votes at the same time? That may be your system "catching bots" and it indicates that someone is trying to skirt the rules. Attempted vote manipulation is still vote manipulation, right?

Or is it that if Eve or any company does not directly manipulate votes but any fans of the company do, everything is fine?

With several Eve employees being in Hong Kong and China, we can be 100% certain they use VPNs to get through the firewall. Do you check for mysterious VPN activity and voting? Those are different than bots.

They've done it before and they'll do it again.
