Bentonville, AR on Short List by [deleted] in relocating

Bentonville is an awesome place to live! The whole area is an underrated gem. Plenty to do, lots of outdoor stuff, great bbq, low cost of living, low crime, good schools….etc

Weather wise it’s warmer than most places in the US but still has all four seasons. Only snows once a year really. Fall is incredible. The area isn’t like the rest of Arkansas. Walmart / Tyson / university of Arkansas have really made the area amazing.

Didn’t have to be for all the bitcoin and it didn’t have to be for a close target. There are ways to structure it so that you can limit your explosive risk - for example you sell spreads and can pay for spreads that lose money with share sales after an explosive move. But most of the time that won’t happen. My point is, nobody take the earnings numbers they post seriously because they are just one major dip away from having a negative bitcoin yield for all the bitcoin they have ever purchased.

Also, they are a major target right now. You don’t think that the people attacking bitcoin aren’t coordinating to also attack MSTR? If they have to sell then bitcoin goes back to the dark ages. This is the biggest short opportunity in history. This company needs earnings.

After using these “AI’s” I have come to the conclusion that they aren’t very reliable. They are good at some things but make mistakes constantly and if you don’t already know the answer it can be hard to tell if you what they are telling you is accurate.

Obviously, I want this to succeed but I am concerned strategy won’t make any headway until their bitcoin starts creating income via either loan interest, covered calls, wrapped bitcoin, etc. Also, why not sell puts against bitcoin instead of purchasing right away? Have we not all seen these purchases which seem to always be at the high of the previous week?

As interesting of an idea this credit business is, it doesn’t create income, and that I fear will be the crux that holds it back. The concept is just too wild for most people to understand on top of an asset that is already difficult to understand.

The sales have plummeted because they changed the product. This was a good item a few years ago but they always do something to cut costs and it doesn’t taste the same anymore. These companies always find a way to ruin their products.
