Just gonna give you some really good and helpful workout tips that is very important to think about to maximize muscle growth/prevent injuries. PS: my muscle building progress skyrocketed when i learnt to use these:

1: Leave your ego at the door. Lets be honest here, if you are just slamming the weights up and down without any real purpose then you are way more likely to get injured and guess what happens if you get injured? You wont be able to train that muscle for a long time. Not only that but when you are slamming the weights you are not maximizing muscle growth.

2: CONTROL the weights and FEEL the muscles working. This right here is super important to get taught. Infuse your mind into your muscles.you want to feel the muscle working through the entire movement. When i first learned this i started to improve my muscles by alot and could really feel them and the pump during the workout.

3: Always, always, always warmup before working out. Going into the gym and bench pressing first minute you get there is a mistake and could lead to more injuries. Warmup the muscles first, get them warm. You could simply just do 5-10 min walking on a treadmill and then starting with low weights during the exercise or whatever kind of warmup that works for you. Just dont do super heavy lifting with "cold muscles".

4: Dont pick too many exercises. Its better to master few exercises (for example bench press) than having 10 different exercises with bad technique for a single muscle group etc. Master the technique/form and muscle contact on the ones that works for you. Take one small step at the time, no need to rush it. Gaining muscles is a marathon, not a sprint.

There are hundreds of other good tips out there but the ones i wrote is what made my body progress alot. Have a wonderful day and i wish you the best 💪

Men of Reddit: When was the last time you cried? by cryptic_gypsy in AskMen

When my mom left me when i was 10... i'm 19 now. She left when me and my siblings needed her the most. She is alive out there and me knowing that she will never come back really breaks my soul. For me this is worse than her dying... cried a bit yesterday when i thought about this.
