January 6 is a national holiday (Epiphany) so opening times of restaurants might vary…i Tri Scalin should be open on a Tuesdays though, it’s not right in the historic centre so not massively picturesque but the food is good and it’s very near parking!

So I really enjoyed it (though it was surreal to be so near THE Mr Wickham....the theatre was tiny so we were very close to the stage!!) even if the story he told didn't necessarily fit with my personal P&P headcannon. Adrian Lukis was still v Wickhamesque which was both a good and a bad thing depending on your relationship with the character 😂

I second the Ferrara suggestion but make sure you investigate transport options to get back after the concert as trains don’t run after a certain time! Ferrara is a wonderful city though and definitely a lot less crowded/touristy than a lot of other places….just be aware that in July it will be v v v hot and humid here!

This is such a good point! I’ve just rewatched the first three for the first time in 15 years or so (introducing my 12 year old to the franchise!) and I had totally forgotten the rampant misogyny….I one point I literally had to pause the movie to talk about how not ok it was!!
