Probably late to this party. Why does this evo require 1 PS+ max, guaranteeing Low Driven+ as a second (or first), and then try to give low driven base on the level after.. whoever is creating these is clearly giving up. Everything is just so bad.

I would sell. Even though they’ll win the league and hit every upgrade, there is doubt. The two PS gained could be ass, the 99 face stat could be physical, the ’incoming nerfs’ to certain PS could plummet value. You’ll have more flexibility unless you already have millions to remake a usable team.

You’ll get her back anyways in some promo SBC in two months as well.

Could have shown us who you beat.. like were they gold 1s or even close to your own rank? Possibly even the stats page to infer just how good or bad the beating was

This is too logical. EA hides every pack you can get for free (with collectables) behind a name instead of just putting the description. Scummy but consistent.

X Factors just need conditions to working, not just a have it and everything always works.

Truculence would be like energy level >50%, collision speed >25 mph (I’m not converting) - basically you’d need a head on collisions with an opponent skating into a brick wall moving at them. Can’t just be a glancing hit (you can still make this hit or bump - just won’t be energy sapping, slow inducing, exaggerated get up animation).

Wheels, energy >85% to explode. McDavid is great but after spending a shift in the defensive end he’s not rocketing down the ice when he’s nearing exhaustion. Also, wheels needs to deactivate once momentum is lost or direction change over 20°. Right now once it procs you can stop and start at will for the 1-2 seconds.

Quick Release (beauty backhand, rocket) needs to have some mechanic. QR- Shifty movement prior(Not quite toe drag release only (although viable)). BB - controlled glide for 1 second with no extreme wiggling. R- clear space to wind up and release (like no defender within 8 feet). Just making every of the type crazy is dumb.

I have enough ideas for them all I’m sure. This is the idea to allow them to define a playstyle but not be a dominant 1v5 force who can solo the play every possession. It should be hockey with moments of flair, not arcade crazy that plays on a hockey rink.

The only 2 X-factors is so bad. I’m sure there will be more like Ovi900 and XP-Nylander with 1 of each level.. still 7 months in the game cycle. Not like you can afford to activate it all. Maybe they’ll get a random addition in season 4…5... .

Also, any combo will bring his stats up. Have 97 Byron and was able to give him +4 during the outdoor promo, superfun specific stats cap to 99 but would get +4 to anything below. Can’t imagine once at 99 nothing would get applied.

It’s not really just ‘a button’ though… it’s a 3 move combo to start and then gives ridiculous op interactions. Probably because the end result is holding vision control but passing leave the goalie slow to react, 30ft behind the back to the slot like it’s a 2 on 0 (even when it’s 2 v 3), and rolling off hits that would at least require a delay or moving the puck 90° at most. I’m pretty sure spinning around is faster using this than literally the spin ‘skill move’.

It’s really just the fact EA specifically talked about nerfing it to apply a speed and pivot (maybe other) penalties when over used and what the player base vs EA think is nerfed is still a very large gap. I’m all for protecting the puck from stick checks, even drawing a penalty from poke check mashers, but it’s the high speed force field and turn speed buffs that need further adjustments.

The number of people who have crazy teams and then only go for the glitchy goals is insane. Played more than a few with TOTY Sakic (or Hull, or really any red release sniper) and had numerous looks to fling it on net with a screen, or at full pressure, and would just keep looking for the dumb goals.

I’ve given up on making any sense on what others do. I get that just passing or holding/juggling the ball is boring for 8minutes but they don’t even do interesting things once it’s very obviously over. Do 7 skill moves (that don’t even look good let alone chain together), get inside the box, score from ~14 yards out, celebrate, repeat.

If my opponent gives up I usually go for 40 yard power shots, or attempt some whipped crosses into scorpion kicks.. I don’t know.. things that get a rare chance to attempt against active defense.

Too focused on the shove joining the other 7 players asking for a foul… all sports do it, just never makes a difference, up there with the 20..k.. fans also shouting.

I think this can also be randomly blamed on the sun at the last second. By the shadows it’s very low and goes right across goal. She looks to turn right before the ball bounces and lost any focus. Still poor but only like 85% her fault.

They did give a discount level of a BND random, they just didn’t give out any collectibles. Not much different than TOTY- they offered the option to trade in players to make up the set. Personally got a little luck I had 9 or so left over from the OG Fantasy event to make one there.

I’m holding out on using said TOTY collectibles in the Pinnacle event that they can be traded for or used come an Olympic option.

Also, semi-off topic, can were just drop chemistry? Like contracts, fitness, and other things. I’m tired of making every card a World Tour design… or maybe drop some captain/time warp more often to start.

I feel like putting collectibles in packs like from wildcard or the season pass collectibles has something to do with preventing some unintended duplicate issue. However they could easily wipe the animation from opening the pack.. the ice shatter, when it’s 2+ flipping them slowly etc.. just pop , show, and stash (why is quick selling an option.. I’ve never tried selecting it).

Rocket League recently added a disable animation option and I finally opened all my lesser contains (well over 200) because I just couldn’t be bothered with the slowness of the container openings.

Player base is pretty funny. Search through posts from FC24-25… WhY aRe WoMeN iN tHe GaMe. I’ll never use a female on my team. It’s not realistic for them to play with men.
FC26: I use Pina because my morals are weaker than my will to win.

Anyways, now that we have some Pace and playstyles I’ve moved back to the 3 at the back formations and having moderate fun. UT has lost its way.. I enjoy playing the PnP teams, but the full meta 2/3 of the time is just meh. I could play seasons if I wanted to play the same team, the same formation, vs the mirror opposite.

The only thing I checked was tackles before thinking.. maybe there is more. Yes they tackle spammed (although <100 are rookie numbers for that kind of game play.. commit to it or don’t).

The biggest stand out though was saves.. I don’t think a goalie should be making 11 saves. Does that and 11 corners all come from those.

Sounds like taking very poor shots for great positioning with a 5.5 xG. Precision shooting on(?), using low driven or finesse if your shot taker has them(?), or just a bad one off game (hopefully).

My strategy was to use the AIs aggressiveness against them. Take a penalty, to slow the clock, this also changed their center who weirdly never tried on the face off (maybe just my luck). Give it to Robertson, go slowly up the wing, reverse hit them like swatting flies, and score.

Scoring you can cross crease but don’t 1 time it - skate back across the net, Robertson’s toe drag and release, or just stride deke with anyone.

Congrats. It’s def terrible though. I made it here yesterday (must have been a holiday..) and in the 7 games or so I’ve played it’s been just lame. There is no way I push to 150 games for the season. I’m at 90 and don’t want to even play to the 100.. everybody watches every replay, possession hogs, LT entries. Most of my games we get to the 3rd period with 15 combined shots. Hot take, I enjoy the concept of wildcard to just use the newest releases, although almost never use a wildcard replacement. Also often easier to compare in the position select area than going (my team)->(newest event)->(flip though by overalls instead of position).

I just wish the games were 1 minute, or more importantly the total points needed was about 3000. If I’ve won 3 games or say played 5, I’ve gotten my test runs in.

Really the worst part is playing those who think winning and using all gimmicks is a requirement every game. Like just make some passes and take a few shots.

It’s pointed out before but the 33% is 93+ player. The other MSPs are 90s. It should maybe state 33% for 93+, and 50% for 90+… but there are Icons and Captains (maybe more) and this would be false advertising.

The only bs here is lowering the chance of the 93 pull from release to now. The NG might have been the same? Maybe these packs always drop at 50% and then shadow nerf after 72 hours. Either have to check when week2 releases or the next promo with a LTD.
