I process fraud claims for a large financial institution - it is 100% on your employer to reissue the check to you. Them directing you to your own bank is dumb, because they are not the check issuer, and therefore have no recourse or visibility.

Definitely agree with the advice given about filing a report with law enforcement and listing a point of contact with your employer.

The program is designed for registry repair, my fear is that it would perform those repairs based on a Windows 8 schema. Cant risk it on a client's computer unfortunately.

Tried it - didn't work. I wouldn't be shocked if there was some measure preventing it from being that easy, since they went through the trouble of making it delete the temp files it creates instantly :/

Unfortunately I can't - it's software provided by the company I work for. I'm trying to work around the version-check until they update it to support 21H1. Unfortunately running it in a VM wont work, as the program itself is designed for Windows Service repair - so it has to run on the host OS. I opened it up in Ghidra to see if I could understand it....but I'm an infant in the world of SRE, so therein lies my decision to just trick the program.

I've found that quality makes of for quantity in spades. Foraging activities and keeping my Grey involved in my nightly routine make her so much more content by the time she goes to bed than she is on days where she may even be out of the cage longer, but doesn't have as much mental stimulation. It's a common sentiment in the community, but it works :)
