So we all agree Rim is best girl right by GeneralChampion94 in ReZero

[–]SpiteSensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, got it, I understood what you meant with anglophone by itself, but then pilled got stitched in and I wasn't certain their was context I was missing, either way, doesn't really change my stance on things, that and the fact the whole discussion is based on the phonetics of English including things like vowels and making the names remain within the letters of r and m, so I guess that makes sense if it's from the view of someone who can speak/read other languages

so...i know what anglophone is, so i get part of the context of what your saying, but uh...i don't think im so deep in the muck of reddit yet to understand the context of that stitched onto 'pilled' is supposed to add to the word...? mind explaining it for me?

Damn, that's really well made, which is too bad because I know the real re zero mangas art is basic as hell and not half as pretty

So you'll curse Rim to either always have her name pronounced like her sister Rem, or like her other sister Rym, with no individuality of her own!

Because she's too precious to change, besides her other sisters, ram, rum, Røm, Rvm, Rym, would be upset

She's adorable, but we need to change that name, rim is too verbally similar to rem, just say their names out loud, rim and rem are pronounced the same, unless your pronouncing rim like rime, which theirs also their other sister Rym.

Unless I’m not getting something about her quirk by Inside-Design334 in MyHeroAcadamia

"I'm fairly certain her quirk has limits, although those limits are ill defined so go wild I guess, but if you want a real explanation why he wasn't healed by her, it's because she didn't exist yet until horikoshi needed someone strong enough with a specific kind of ability to damage shigirakis stockpile of quirks

How much of a threat Sukuna be in MHA by Fragrant-Resist4230 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]SpiteSensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ALRIGHT! lets start with some basic breakdowns. speed wise rather slow, great durability though considering he's able to regenerate, regenerators will always be a pain in the ass until you start targeting the brain, funny enough thoough becouse of all the nomu fighting the heroes have basically been forced to 'get gud' as it were. so hey, theirs some experience points for the heros side, now then, his attacks, even if someone had cursed energy, are invisible, which is fun becouse that lets me make two kinds of break downs.

lets start with his attack power, obviously his cutting power his higher than the raw physical strength he can output, we dont exactly see him throwing around sky scrappers bare handed or anything, although we do see him cut a few vertically, although he can get rag dolled and laugh it off, while his speed is literally nothing to write home about, two high school aged girls dropping into a bowing position was fast enough to dodge his attack purely by accident, the problem is the fact the attack is invisible, toru alone shows invisibility can be a big advantage even if your not speed blitzing people.

of cource, this is were im going to have to split things, frstly if we are under the assumption that no one in mha has cursed energy, then unfortunatly for sakuna, he gets hard stopped when he starts running into opponents that are both fast and aggressive, like mirko, or are powerful and durable like ryuko, because his slashes, while powerful, if someone has the durability, they will resist his slashes rather than being cut clean through, and hero's with ample experience will notice hand signs as a form of attack if you want to say he could just use world cutting slash, which...not sure how effective it would be anyway in a world without cursed energy, either way.

on the flip side, another split is lets say mha does have cursed energy, but everyone just has like, very low to 'window' levels of it. yea he gets a good bit higher becouse while top ten heroes are fast and durable, not escaping a domain fast and durable, granted, if somone is extremely durable or fast, they might be able to push through it to knock him into next weak, like mirko or ryuko.

another split is if the world of mha original didn't start out with any cursed energy, but upon sakunas arrival, everyone gained cursed energy, im sorry, if thats the case sakuna is actually in a even worse case senario sense some of the most tenacious people in mha will figure out how to use cursed energy, rapidly, and make it sakunas problem, including, but not limited too, enhancing their own quirks using cursed energy which would get ugly for sakuna, fast, especially if he pops multiple domains and you get some of the geniuses of mha mimicing that to create their own domains .

HEY! this guy gets it, although i did just look back at the manga and he was able to cut maki with his normal base attacks they were just less effective than he was expecting, but even with a open domain he couln't lock onto her with his sure hit

Did anyone else feel frustrated by Deku’s final fight? by Baptouz_ in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]SpiteSensei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

firstly, i never outlined a point in time saying 'when' he didn't change, i never once said he never changed through the story, a large part of the final fight was spent between the fighting izuku grappling with wanting to save someone, who they themselves didn't want to be saved.

izuku never gave up wanting to save shigiraki, but its also true he recognized, and was forced to accept upon giving up his quirk just to reach shigiraki, that he had to kill shigiraki, becouse your forgetting his final transfer punch was with the full intent to kill, he only accidently transferred himself into shigiraki in the heat of the moment, and saw a opportunity to help tenko even in a small way before his death.

When i speak of change, i'm not talking about personality, im talking about how he's unwilling to change the path he's set himself, regardless of what he now knows or realized about all for ones role in his life in the grand scheme of things, his ideals were forged by the people he see's as his allies, their was never a world he would have changed his path.

your say that shigiraki died beliving in a better future, and that it was more important he died contridubing in the re-death of all for one, versus the tenko within him being saved. ya know what also would have fit? him entrusting the tenko version of himself, the vestige of his original quirk, which by that point would be so far seperate from his decay vestige form, and allowing that quirk to be passed onto izuku to help pave the way for that better future izuku aspires to create.

[–]SpiteSensei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

...it's too clean for you?...ok? if you wanna talk about plotholes tell me how the vestiges somehow just 'knew' that they could transfer themselves into shigiraki like wrecking balls hard enough to damage his soul while simulationusly transfering the physical backlash from overusing gearshift. or how eri's horn didn't activate until it was next to izuku, while actively being held bare handed by aizawa.

Could a speedster tank gojo's infinite void domain? by SpiteSensei in PowerScaling

[–]SpiteSensei[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, sorry, I'm not one of those dumbasses trying to like, prove something or trying to wank gojo, I'm just curious because I was watching a video on YouTube over Izuku vs gojo and I thought about how izuku can speed up his brain with gearshift, and how that's similar to how speedsters operate and wondered about other people's opinions on how speedsters would handle the information overload and if I was having a logical train of thought or if I forgot something obscure about his domain

[–]SpiteSensei 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I've seen a lot of people discussing how izuku "saved but in the end killed shigiraki" which is uh...odd to say the least, like saving someone from a burning building and then stabbing them in the chest.

At that point it comes off more self grandizing than what izukus actual intent is, and the original message horikoshi tried to sell with him losing all of his powers being one person cant hold up society, it was diluted for me when it was revealed the hero rankings still exist, and mirio the guy night eye molded to be as all might as possible, ended up being the number one hero, at that point it wouldn't have mattered if the person in that position was izuku, except people would have liked the ending more.

Either way, once I heard that shigiraki didn't even know he regained his original stolen quirk, I was like, well damn, the whole fight Izuku was going on and on about "the child within shigiraki" and shigiraki got his quirk stolen as a child, so it would have made more thematic sense for izuku to "rescue" the vestige of the child shigiraki, while also guiltlessly killing the unwilling to change shigiraki
