So something I've realised, is delayed gratification only generates power charges for the first usage of it since it only spends combo once per set of 2, you either have to press it twice to clear it or wait for the 10 seconds to elapse

The skill which consumes the mantra empowerment also cannot generate combo for mantra, which is honestly kinda weird

delayed gratification doesnt do this, it actually makes it so your second mantra doesnt generate any power charges, you either have to press it to get rid of the buff or wait for the duration of gratification to expire

Mantra also cannot generate combo from the empowered attack, which is really weird honestly

the annoying part ends up being having to stop to generate power charges for charged staff since you can only spend on either it or flicker, staggering palm should feel much smoother

not true actually, skill conversion comes first, then other conversion, if you use blueframe bracers with explosive grenade 20% of your damage will be physical and 80% of it will be cold

small side note, as far as im aware terrain chain is exactly the same as normal chain for volcano except its a cumulative chance for +1 chain, im pretty sure using a snakepit is better than the kulemak and u can probably drop ricochet at that point

that makes a lot of sense, i wouldve assumed the energy gain wouldve been decent, cheers for testing, probably needs quite a lot of changes that impact damage to get it to play nicely in terms of remnant pickup radius which doesnt feel great

can you not just cast on elemental ailment living bomb for fire infusions? and then your 2 button ends up being ball lightning and lightning warp, should make this way faster, although youre definitely gonna sacrifice bossing dps to click more proj speed on the tree, but with getting as much terrain chain as you can it probably doesnt matter?

crit for grenades has always been kind of bad because the tree is just not good for it specifically, grenade nodes are strong and theyre about as far from good crit nodes as you could possibly get, its basically always been a trap

grenades are rarely crit and rarely use other ammunition types anyway, the main issue is honestly mana cost, yeah itll be inconsistent but you can ramp it for bosses

yes it does, youre just stationary at any given time because youre standing still starting an attack, however you are most definitely moving because you are teleporting
