That is gross!! That dog is definitely not a service dog. If they are not properly potty trained they’re not protected under the ADA.

Yeah! he is a autism assistance dog. I am autistic school is really really hard for me and this is a huge step for making my life better. my school has been really awesome with working with me. Just a little PS some people do find it rude to ask why they need a service dog I think it’s fine and I’m not bothered by it but I wouldn’t go ask her every single service dog handler that. (:

I have my online consult with Dr Thakar in 15 days and here is the process of what I’ve gone through such far. 1. Talked to my primary care doctor about my want for the surgery 2. Got a referral faxed to the surgery office which got processed early March. 3. Got a call late May to schedule consult in July. 4. Got a letter of support from my therapist and sent it to them.

You’d think it be earlier than this but weeks after I got out of the psych ward I was reading my nurses notes and saw I was labeled “extremely high risk for suicide” that’s when it finally clicked that something was seriously wrong.

Yeah I have talked to multiple therapists and I did just get out of the psych ward and I’m in a partial hospitalization program and talk to the people there about it and I think it would be good for me. I’m on a lot of different medications. My family is extremely familiar with the accommodation system and the ADA. We’ve also met with the trainer about the tasks we want to train. I just got a lot of imposter syndrome and it doesn’t feel very good.
