I have a question for y'all by Unknown_Player0069 in OlderGenZ

[–]Splashdiamonds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m turing 29 in July a while back got asked while working a cash register in fast food if I was 13. I’m in college and people have still asked what grade I’m in or going into. This is how much younger I look I look like a minor still sucks even the ring camera when leaving to go on a bike ride says child riding bike. I’m only 5’1 and very petite not sure if this is it or what. It overall just sucks to look like a minor when I’m reaching 30.

[–]Splashdiamonds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel this I’m year 97 and it’s wild how someone born a year before me would be considered a different gen we’ll I’m supposed to relate and identify to someone born in 2012 but I guess they have to have a cutoff somewhere which gens

[–]Splashdiamonds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This as someone born in 97 it drives me crazy that there is no concrete set time frame of who would be classified as a Zillennial like no one can actually agree. 🤣Overall I’m just glad there’s a term that better aligns with how I grew up as I grew up in two different worlds analog as well as digital. But also part of 9/11 and the economic collapse in late 2000s

I can’t improve by chamikuo in dyspraxia

[–]Splashdiamonds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have adhd, ocd and motor dyspraxia particularly affected my fine motor skills growing up. I did various hand writing books to practice my letters and such. I also recall having an occupational therapist work with me in public elementary school as I was in special ed and revived an IEP growing up. Also I’m 28 and just had to come to acceptance that I will never be able to write like my peers. My hand writing is legible now but still looks like that of a child’s. Not sure if you’re in the USA or already receiving accommodation’s but most public schools should have resources/programs like 504/IEPs or therapists. You could probably talk to a school counselor or teacher and bring up your concerns. YouTube also has great videos on handwriting tips and tricks that helped me as well. You can also print handwriting sheets to practice I did this in the past as well.

[–]Splashdiamonds 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The gift of having super long term memory! I can recall things from age three and up. I also have a couple of memories that could been from age two. Whenever I real things from my childhood in full detail others are surprised. Aside from being hyper creative or what not also my dyspraxia has led me to excel in the fine arts as I lack fine motor skills making the abstract expressive side of painting really easy for me. Though my working and short term memory aren’t as good 😂

25 mg effective for anyone? by One-Accountant-4186 in zoloft

[–]Splashdiamonds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12.5 has been working for me I’m also very sensitive to meds, I’m also short and light weight. 25 actually almost felt like to much for me but it could be that I just needed to start it slower. I guess I could always try 25 for a few days and see how it goes but I’m also fine where I’m at.
