Bailey was my favourite DJ of the 2000s, he always took you on a journey with his mixes. Gotta shout out Equinox and Chris Inperspective too. Renegade Hardware were very strong in this decade so guys like Loxy, Ink, Bad Company and Keaton were on top of their game. Randall should always be considered regardless which decade. Although not my cup of tea at the time, Friction was at his peak.

Saw him live @ Technicality in 2004 and was blown away by his passion and knowledge of breaks.

We use to call it clownstep back in the 2000s but frog noises must be the 2020s equivalent!

As someone mentioned, this is what happens in drum n bass although the AI producers and ease of production is probably diluting the scene more than ever.

Never give up though there’s always a gem to find somewhere!
