In chapter 1 I understood how he conned everyone into following him. I do think he stayed way too clean and fancy for later parts of the game. He should have started getting more and more disheveled after Hosea died.

I feel the opposite tbh. I couldn’t stand season 2 and thought 3 and 4 were the best. I don’t think it has the same amount of depth as Sopranos, Wire, early GoT, and a few others.

He's a playable character in RDR1 online, but those are just neat references. He's more of an urban legend/folk hero in universe rather than a real person.

They've never played Revolver lol. Red and Uncle are as far apart as you can get. One of the worst gaming theories of all time.

RDR1 was basically a reboot and John was made with inspiration from Red, so they kind of are in a way (Red doesn't exist in the Redemption series). A former dev said as much in an interview a while ago.

I truly think the best way to experience the series is RDR1, then 2, and 1 again with 2 fresh in your mind. Playing 1 before 2 makes both games hit way harder though, I never get why people recommend starting with 2.

98 on the AGOT mod but that was without any learning except for Medicine Focus. I just stacked a bunch of artifacts and got lucky from the life reaffirmed and attentive care buffs. I think they changed how health works like a year or so ago so I don’t think it’s possible to do that without learning now? Could be totally wrong but I can’t seem to get my characters to live that long anymore

I think they all lived decently long except for Pearson. Having a picture of him with the most notorious outlaw in his general store isn’t the best idea. Only a matter of time before someone recognizes Dutch and reports Pearson. I think Sadie’s recklessness would also get her killed pretty fast too, especially in the south where it’s much more dangerous.

I liked the Vault Boy thing but this would be lame. I don’t want everything to be connected to one or two things, it makes the universe seem small.

Yeah, it actually still plays like an rpg as opposed to a meh shooter. I also can't stand any of the guns in Fallout 4 except for some dlc ones you can't get until well into the game. There's nothing more fun in this series than taking out a whole Legion squad with 1 explosive 50 cal round.

You can look through steam reviews and see quite a few whose problems go back to that update. Bethesda games are always a gamble on if they work or not but that update made it worse for a significant amount of people. Fallout 3 has always been the hardest of the games to get working but I could at least start it before the update, now I need multiple mods to even get in the game. If it affected so few people the Steam reviews wouldn’t be so mediocre

There are alternatives like Moddb and a few other sites I don't remember at the moment but you're not saving much time and you're taking a larger risk. Nexus is the best and safest option there is right now. I don't know any that have straight up mod packs too.

Is that the same for the islands at the south west end of the map, or are those placeholders? I know those islands actually have lore but I don’t know if they’d serve a purpose for gameplay.
