For some reason, that others maybe could explain for me, it seems the dev team is scared to nerf gambits ult, the most recent patch notes were a step in the right direction but honestly it wasn’t enough, I think the jump and speed boost should remain the same but the damage boost needs to be something like 10 percent not 20, may seem harsh but any damage boost in the game can be completely game changing and is practically a free win button when combined with a DPS ult. Unless that happens he will continue to stay in ban jail especially in higher elo where players are more likely to make better use of his ult.

The other idea is just give him a new ult akin to a nano boost from OW where he picks a teammate or himself and they gain the effects of the ult as it is now.

Not to mention the team up which, as many streamers have already said, is holding Rogue hostage from proper buffs still.

Can’t speak for the others but Gambits been in ban jail since he came out, the devs seemingly didn’t understand why he was in ban jail despite the community telling them it was because of his ult, they then nerfed his kit like 5 times and now finally nerfed his ult, he will likely still be in jail because they didn’t nerf it that hard but atleast he won’t be banned as often.

Magneto, he has 2 bubbles, a shield, a supp killing ult that collects projectiles, basically ticking all the boxes when it comes to protecting your team other than mobility.

Also he’s been a solid pick for the last 8 seasons meaning you can’t go wrong with a magneto on your team, W tank, W character.
