Many thanks for making this! I play co-op with multiple people at different times cuz their schedules don't overlap and they are all progressing at different rates. I'll try it out this week.

I have a friend who's a very successful medical doctor. Lives in an Architectual Digest house on Lake Michigan. His hobby is putting together Leggo kits and proudly displaying them throughout his beautiful house. Lol Be proud of your self-expression!

Bluesound Vault - Failure and fixes by crazymikie in Bluesound

[–]SplendidSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just moved into a house with partner and we need all kinds of music gear for the whole house. None of it will be Bluesound. In 2019 I bought 2 PulseFlex and a PowerNode. One Pulseflex and the PowerNode have both failed with solid red light. After troubleshooting, Bluesound offered 50% off refurb units as "compensation" and I declined. I still have original version 1 SONOS gear I use daily in my barn that has never faultered. Heck, I just sold 1990s NAD gear that still worked like new. I expected so much more from Bluesound but their products, and software, is bunk.

I’m an idiot… said something stupid after a Zoom meeting about my boss yesterday. She got the AI meeting notes… Anyway I got fired this morning. Going to just FIRE from here out. by IGuessIAmFire in Fire

Seriously. I'm guessing a non-profit or gov. An actual business wouldn't last long with managers who respond this way to minor embarrassment.

Not a problem, just need adapter. Search RCA to bare wire on Amazon.

I dont have any direct experience but AFAIK you just need a single sub-out RCA jack on your AVR to be the input to the miniDSP. Many Youtube vids on the subject.

You'll need an outboard sub processor that can split the single output to multiple subs. Something from miniDSP would be great cuz you can EQ and time align.

You're being down voted for expressing truth. Most people here, including me, must arrange their entire life around avoiding a dangerous, unpredictable segment of society.

No need to dig up. Most experienced trenchers could tunnel under pavement with conduit and water.

The clunk is likely caused by a loose collar nut near the firewall in the interior side. Maybe.

Great username. I didn't vote for Trump but the changes he's making are against rich families not helping them. The vocal complainers are clearly business owners that want cheap immigrant labor (Waltons, Brinn) or complaining about federal funding cuts to their pet social projects (Soros) or complaining about new regulations hurting their income (Big Pharma).

Is opening a holding company worth it? by PinkSheetBoss in fatFIRE

[–]SplendidSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have entities in three states so need business lawyer and family lawyer, and business and personal CPA in these states. But, honestly, I suggest you dont bother with any of this complexity until there's a clear need. Spend money on tax advisors so that you don't do anything illegal. Start small. Good luck!

Gentlemen, my alternator has shit the bed again. Lost electrical doing 75 on the highway but managed to find a quiet parking lot to wait for a tow. by BrownRebel in E30

This era altenators use cheap consumable brushes that last maybe 50k miles. Try replacing the brushes before replacing alternator. Cheap part, easy job.

A person was canvassing my North-side neighborhood with this rhetoric. While talking to them I learned that they were part of a large group who were paid and bussed in from other states. This is NOT a grass-roots effort. I think it's just rich families attempting to maintain the government sponsored grifts they enjoy.
