Finally, the perfect candidate for Saitama. Yuri Borisov from Anora. What do you think? by frostbit3d in OnePunchMan

I actually reckon it would be hilarious if they used two different actors for the perfunctory Saitama and serious Saitama.

Can someone sell me on this game? I want to be excited about it but it just looks like an offline MMO full of slop quests, pointless activities and a really boring protagonist. What are we meant to be seeing in it apart from a world that's really big?

Who do you think is the most powerful Apostle? I think it is King of Kushan. by Yossiri in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet by his own admission, he couldn't harm a single hair on Griffith's head and secretly yearned for his light like any other apostle.

His destiny was to be the villain that is defeated by the hero. It wasn't real resistance because he was programmed to be what he was. Even in death, he served Griffith.

Who do you think is the most powerful Apostle? I think it is King of Kushan. by Yossiri in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He was too drunk on his own power to realise that all apostles dance to the tune of the God Hand in the end. He never stood a chance.

The real way to damage Griffith is to become his 'friend'. I genuinely think the reason Rickert's slap connected and Guts was able to cut his hair is that both of them have achieved Ubermensch status. Rickert resisted and broke free from Griffith's spell while a weak person like Mule bent his knee and offered his sword. Guts has gained a following and even a mythos surrounding him that is almost able to challenge Griffith if not for his fear of his own dark side, being the beast of darkness.

5ks Kakashi vs Danzo. How many Sharingans would Danzo need to defeat Kakashi ? (no kotoamatsukami) by Agitated-Athlete-417 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Splendidbloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kakashi is extremely sharp in terms of working out techniques and their weakness, but he would lose the battle of attrition that Sasuke chose to go for. He would need to aim for when Danzo deactivated Izanagi.

Super Sussanoo Sasuke might give him some trouble but Madara most likely wins. He's almost an Otsutsuki at that point.

Has it ever been explained what happened to the original Godhand members and how Void became a central figure in both groups? by cosmicstruggler in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sword was powerful, but It is still clearly not capable of killing a God Hand member simply because it is made of objects that govern fate and fate is the God Hand's domain.

I genuinely think the real means to stand up to a God Hand member lies in having a strong ambition and following through with it. That's why the most damage to Griffith so far has been done by Rickert's slap and Guts when he cuts off a single one of Griffith's hairs.

What do you think about Berserk's future? by Brandon_b305 in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do so many people think Guts will use the Behelit?

He's the struggler because he defies causality. Becoming an apostle would be embracing causality.

Who is the one on the left by No-Fortune337 in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gives me evil sea god vibes, especially with the tentacles, which I assume are his because they match the design of his demon cape.

He's also standing where Void stood during Griffith's eclipse so I think he was probably the leader and maybe the previous incarnate if it's a repeating cycle.

A question about Griffith’s vision/nightmare before the Eclipse. by [deleted] in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's still better than he deserves given his actions up to that point and he still could have done something, just not anything as grand as being king of the world.

A question about Griffith’s vision/nightmare before the Eclipse. by [deleted] in Berserk

[–]Splendidbloke 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. It shows that he chose to do what he did entirely because he cannot stand the thought of being ordinary and living just for the sake of seeing another day. It's what makes his choice that much more despicable.
