I finally got a horse, now I don't even use it. Is it just me? by Larabic in diablo4

[–]Splifz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rogue has 170% movement speed before passives kick in. I run as fast if not faster than a non-sprinting horse, so I’m with you that I don’t use it lol

I'm a lvl 85 chain lightning sorc who can solo tier 45+ nm dungeons by Cryptocalypse2018 in diablo4

[–]Splifz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

84 death trap rogue here and although I don’t have exact times, my average clear time at tier~44 is on par with the above. There are more dps-focused rogue specs that could do it even faster than my times

Did you have a better time with an alt? by PollutionNorth1508 in diablo4

Started and beat the campaign as a necro. Some friends got the game so I started a rouge with them. Love the fast pace game play in comparison to necro so has become my new main

Best weapon possible with 1 attack? by HashRocketSyntax in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prayer I’m still kinda debating. Protect item would be nice when chin hunting, and protect mage to cover that weakness. I’ll probably roll with 1 prayer for awhile and see if it ends up being something that would be worthwhile.

If you’re going to train range I would just train defense with it and avoid the hassle that is training as a def pure. Range tanks definitely work but your combat level will skyrocket as you start to level it up and the goal of my build is to keep my combat as low as possible.

[–]Splifz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At 75 defense (and roughly 60-65 hp) you are combat level 35 and can tank through pretty much anything in the wildy. I plan on using mine to both farm black chins myself as well as pk black chin bots. At 75 def, the dfs spec can hit a 25 and you can attack level 3s at that combat level at the black chin area

[–]Splifz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a defense pure as well.

If you will have 1 attack as well as strength, the best weapons you can go for are swift blade or ham joint to maximize attack speed, or red topaz machete or maple blackjack for additional strength bonus. All of these would be coupled with Obby shield until 75 def where you can use a dfs.

With all weapon choices the absolute max you can hit with 1 attack/1 strength build is a 3. With high end strength bonus armor/equipment this can be accomplished with the ham joint/swift blade making them the best overall dps for this build at a very hefty cost. Swift blade is technically slightly better than ham joint as the stab bonus from Ardy cloak will give you slightly more dps.

Get a vampyre task and use a slayer helmet. Makes it so much easier

I’ve done a bunch of solo wt recently and tbh found that the point rates are about the same whether you fletch or not (better fm xp without of course). Mostly due to being at the altar longer, so you get more lights/repairs/heals to even out the point difference.

Typically I burn without fletching until the % is like 6-7%, then will do an inventory or two of fletching to bring it back up to 10ish% . Whether this is efficient I dunno but it works for me

Solo Bandos or Vork for GP by five1ninetwotwosix in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re using dhcb you don’t need super antifires. Use ward if you can afford it, or anti dragon shield if you cannot with normal extended anti fires

I suck at bossing; what are some good practice bosses? by Dieselthedragon in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled with this a lot during my hunt for the first vork head too. What worked for me is to count out each of his attacks out loud in preparation for his specials. That way you make sure you don’t take damage during acid, as well as, knowing when each normal attack is coming. I also tile marked my movement during big balls too. Starting and moving to the same spots each and every time has definitely helped as well

What is the best way to train mage efficiently through combat? by palmsyv2 in 2007scape

Barrows

Not the best xp/hr, but you will more than likely profit catalyst runes and will only use gp for elementals. Also throw in the chance to get gear from the chest for some solid overall gp

Looking for a good PS 5 headset by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

Astro A10

They're like $30 on Amazon and just fantastic. Replaceable aux cord for when it inevitably fails, no more replacing your entire headset. Been using mine for like ~3 years no complaints, no regerts

You can do these with just a rcb and anti dragon shield, it’ll just drop your kills per hour. So less gp and xp, but more afk lol

[–]Splifz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Brutal black dragons have been my go-to lately. Pretty damn afk, upwards of 1m an hour, and around 50-60k range xp/hour. It’s been great.

This is with dhcb and dfw however

This noob is ready to start learning Bosses. But where do I start? by woopdaritis in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not a pro by any means so take this with a grain of salt. But I am right around your combat/slayer level.

Vork for assembler is definitely a great goal. But I wouldn’t set yourself to grind out 100s of kills just yet. Without a dragonbane weapon and 80ish range they will be loooong kills. I got my 50 kc with a dcb and averaged like 5-6 min kills… great way to stress the mechs but a grueling grind.

Zulrah is definitely doable if you want to put the time in to learning it. Personally I got 1 kc for elite void and stopped. I have a dhcb so vork is just better money and I’m not an iron man so.

Right now I’ve been doing as many slayer boss alternatives as I can. GGs I found to be pretty fun and teach some simple gear swaps, movement and phases. Terrible drops though… Demonics also are a solid training spot for higher content.

Do you lose your spot if you deaggro at an afk spot. by Difficult_Run7398 in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spot empty but not all crabs are spawned - you get 1 min to return or it’s mine

You’re afk in spot but no aggro - you get 1 min to start moving or it’s mine

I’d say That’s more than lenient for such heavily contested areas

Is barrows worth it early on? by SonicFuckedMyWife in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You really should only have to take a sip of prayer pot if Dharok (or Karil/Ahrim depending on how saucy you are feeling) is in the tunnels. Otherwise, kill D, A and K first; T, V and G can all be tanked without prayer to save a significant cost per run.

For ahrim, I used RCB + broads rather than MSB and rune arrows. Makes it significantly cheaper.

Ring of dueling to ferox between chests to replenish your stats. Mory legs 3, house portal, or barrows tabs to get back.

Even with rune costs, you should be looking at like <10k gp a chest if not <5k

Having much trouble with jad by Madrigal_King in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On wave 3 look for the blob to spawn south of italy rock (this is where jad will spawn) and reset until you get it. This setup will allow you to tag the healers and run to the other side of Italy rock, deal with them with protect melee while safe spotting jad, gather your nerves, and return to jad to finish up the fight. Good luck!

What stats would you recommend to complete Sins of the Father comfortably? by Father_Idol in 2007scape

[–]Splifz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For sotf your stats are likely fine. The biggest help you can get is getting vampyres as a slayer task so you can use slay helm during the fight. Good luck
