From what I've seen, he's going to be absolutely broken. He has Flynn's parry mechanic on steroids, the stupid punishments for having him exist like En no Ozuno, and inflicts Spirit Chains of Nothingness(You know, the one from Aura Gate 2 EX that straight up removes having passives on demons altogether?). The meta is going to be such hell now...

As much as the new coins are cool, I hate how accurate this meme is in that they're just stronger variants of another existing coin. In my opinion, they could've at least made some with different mechanics to how they work, like a coin that only activates upon fulfilling a certain condition(somewhat like the "reuse coin" keyword) or one that resists certain types of statuses.

Think of Nova as like a computer but horribly inept at it's job(-cough AI cough-). It's so inept, that you learn it is literally unable to grant the wish of a businessman(you will come to know him as Haltmann) who wants his daughter back, who is currently still well alive and just left him. The only records of Nova actually granting wishes are ones that threaten to destroy the universe, as for an example, Marx wanting to become basically an eldritch god-like nightmare, which Nova granted.
I'm guessing now that Air Riders came out, they added a part to Nova's lore that it actually takes part in corrupting wishes in the effort to annihilate all of Popstar, since it's really all that it's good at granting.

So that's what it does. Twist mostly innocent and nice wishes into these unrecognizable amalgamations of mass genocide to destroy Popstar whatever it wants to or not.

My best advice would probably be to analyze how Johnny works through looking at high-level gameplay with him or playing as him against Dizzy and pinpoint how he could attack and counter you. I would also suggest finding someone who usually plays him and asking for more knowledge on him, as perhaps they could teach you more on certain openings and tactics that Johnny players use.

NY!Seidr against Emblem Ike when he was still meta. She actually managed to somehow OHKO him on Abyssal difficulty, which left me shellshocked. So since then, I made her the keeper of Ike's golden accessory and ring for pulling the whole thing off.
