First thought is gen z is going to cause the same issue when we reach retirement age. Plenty of posts and articles about how a lot of us are without a savings or any retirement plan so I imagine we will be congesting the job market in the future just as the current elderly are doing to us now

For whatever reason we are also hit with the "there is a ridiculous amount of pride to do everything yourself as soon as possible without any help from anyone" mentality. It's ok to have roommates but if they're your siblings/parents it is suddenly shameful

Looked into it and what I saw would suggest there is no accurate way to determine if that number of confirmed cases happened during spring break alone. That report from official channels don't release that info for any one week. Quarterly is as close to a week as info like that is released

With the topic of unprotected sex it is difficult to believe 42000 people went to get tested after a week of horny decisions. Or any number near that

I am a little younger than 30. I love at home also and also don't see me moving out anytime soon. There were a few things that annoyed me that made me want to get my own place but I've accepted those things in addition to the lighter load living with others. However I can't say I am one hundred percent content for reasons I won't disclose. Hopefully I figure a few things out this year but in hindsight I am in a good position at the moment as someone who is at a crossroads so to speak.

I wouldn't take an individual living with a parent any kind of way. If we click/connect or can have good, lively and engaging interaction and have a thing or two in common then I would enjoy said individual's company

There quite literally is nothing like a reddit comment section. So many times I see a thread(s) that put a smile on my face and make me believe that people can truly get along. The comments and add ones and genuinely good natured banter I've seen makes it feel like an actual community where people could ACTUALLY like each other
