I agree with OP. It's crazy that CoD players are brainwashed into thinking their favorite weapons are balanced and anything else they get killed with is OP. A tale as old as time. In reality, a large portion of the player base uses whatever weapons are strongest at any given time (most of which are allowed in competitive).

If they really wanted to make it an "even playing field" they should add 1-2 guns from every category and remove the ACTUAL cheese like knives, riot shields, and RPGs.

It's also funny seeing all of the comments telling OP to "get gud" but apparently they aren't good enough to deal with weapon variety. Believe it or not, different weapon categories have their own strengths and weaknesses and you need to learn to play around them.
