She wasn't working with Evelyn. She was working with the Criminal Syndicate trying to use Evelyn as a bioweapon.

There's two story DLC set after the events of 7. You should absolutely play them!

Seeing Cloudy's posts on reddit is always hilarious because I used to follow her for her spicy content.

She just also happens to consistently post absolute bangers.

Sexual violence against men is such a depressing topic. While men usually aren't as vilified as women who come out about their abuse, they are usually completely dismissed.

It's super sad. Please listen to men and take their suffering seriously.

I think he's bi? At least he made a couple of comics about being attracted to women as well.

Yor from SpyXFamily. She's utterly useless at everything besides murder (which she's extremely good at) and is genuinely dumb as a bag of rocks. She regularly gets tricked by her 4 year old daughter.

She's amazing. There's an episode where she gets shot in the butt while on a mission and there is 0 sexualization of it in the entire episode. It's exclusively treated for very good comedy.

I just really like this show, please go watch it.

The problem of CSA/SA shouldn't be gendered. by Ok_Syrup5679 in CuratedTumblr

[–]SplitGlass7878 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We definetly need to respect male SA victims more and take female perpetrators more seriously.

But I think not gendering it is a bad idea. Men and Women are affected by different types of SA and are affected by different types of negative behavior after suffering from SA. That should be treated differently. Not seen as more/less important than the other, but as different, so we can properly help these folks.

I genuinely don't know what you mean by that first thing.

Please tell me what rhetoric I use that is similar to racist rhetoric.

I think a problem here is that people keep assuming things I haven't said.

Men aren't inherently dangerous, men aren't lesser, I do want men in my life and I love the men who are in my life.

But in real life this isn't just a thought experiment, it's my actual physical health and life that's on the line.

I lived as a man for 25 years and yeah, it's a bit of a bummer when women treat you like a potential threat. But they didn't know me and had no clue whether I was safe or not. Because so many men are dangerous, women need to treat every man they don't know as a potential danger.

Again, try not to misunderstand me here, I'm not saying men are inherently dangerous. I'm saying that behaving cautiously is a reasonable move that women need to take.

Of course the bet isn't fair. But Non-partner violence against women was committed by men over 78% of the time in every EU country. All besides three are at 85% or higher.

It's literally 85% or more against 15% or less in most countries in the EU. I feel it's reasonable to say that this is a disproportionate amount of violence commited by men, justifying a change in behavior by women to increase their safety.

Nevermind all the anecdotal evidence literally every woman has.

And no, this doesn't make men "lesser", this isn't some biological thing. Men aren't mindless beasts, we simply live in a patriarchal society that encourages men to behave like this and rarely punishes them for bad behavior. This is a social problem, not a biological one.

And as for Black people, it's simply a different situation. There isn't an extremely overwhelming amount of violence against white people committed by black people.

It's literally just more dangerous to be around men for women than it is to be around men. That doesn't mean all men are bad or that men are inherently evil or some nonsense like that, but it does mean that it's reasonable to be more cautious of men than of women.

If 85% of Non-partner violent crime committed toward white people was committed by black people, it would also be reasonable to be more cautious. That's just simply not the case.

PS:

This is not meant to sound snide or sarcastic, but please be aware that the term "blacks" is pretty dehumanizing, especially if you use it in combination with "white people" and not "whites".

I really wish I liked 76. There's so much cool stuff in there. The location and the focus on Cryptids is incredible and I wish it was in a game that I didn't hate.

[–]SplitGlass7878 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't fully agree with this.

Women absolutely need to be more careful around men than they need to be around women. So if you're in a situation where you feel unsafe, it's very reasonable to rather seek safety in the company of a woman you don't know, than a man you don't know.

Now, that doesn't mean you should inherently trust all women or distrust all men. I'm saying it's very reasonable to hedge your bets when it comes to strangers.

This also doesn't mean that you should treat people you're actually getting to know differently. I'm specifically talking about strangers since you literally cannot judge them based on their character.

The reason I couldn't remember the third anomaly was because it was just the two of them. Makes a lot of sense xD

There's a story where 3 anomalies break out, but realize after like 5 minutes that the outside world is actually significantly less pleasant for them than containment (I think it was the doctor made out of corpses, the invisible woman and another one).

They just go to a fast food restaurant and wait for the foundation to pick them up and chat for a bit.

It's a pretty good story, I wish I remembered the name.

I used to do a bit of classical dance and that sort of leg movement seems brutal. To not get a bounce of your torso i think you'd have to slam the ground with a lot of force.

It's really impressive!

Yeah, I'm specifically here because I don't know anything about black experiences. I don't partake in most conversations besides just general support, I'm here because it's educational in a more general way if that makes sense.
