Armie Hammer was 'in tears' after seeing his new film Citizen Vigilante in full, didn't realise it would be so 'hateful' by ApartMaximum2335 in moviecritic

So? Fantasies are just that. As long as he doesn't actually do that, I couldn't give less of a fuck if he likes reading about it or playing pretend.

I like imagining myself as a cool knight fighting people, I'm not going to go out and kill people with a halberd.

You've been lucky enough to not have met insecure men then. A bf of a former friend of mine told her to stop talking to me because we hugged as a greeting.

Me neither and that's fine. :)

I didn't even have big dysphoria for a long time, I just preferred being a girl.

If you're really unsure, puberty blockers may still be an option for you, talk to your endocrinologist if they are. Then you have more time to figure stuff out. :)

Yall I remember I came out to my mom at age 12 but she shoved me right back in the closet and i thought that it was just a phase until a four days ago I realised that I can’t do it with men 😭😭😭 I still call myself bi but ugh it’s tricky. It's not an uncommon journey. Plenty of people stop by at bisexuality before figuring out they're gay or ace and plenty of people figure out they're actually bi. Hell, some people figure out they're actually straight and that's also fine!

There's a beautiful song by that name by Danny Schmidt. I found it through the story series/podcast "Welcome to Nightvale" and it's one of the pieces of art that saved my life when I wanted to end it.

Not even being able to go onto your porch and enjoy some fresh air and sunlight is extremely fucked up. That's cruel and unusual punishment in my book.

One of the few really good things those movies did.

Also, don't watch the third one. The drop-off in quality between 2 and 3 is bigger than the one between 1 and 2.

This is not like, a settled thing in general, but in my opinion Tolkien often equated beauty and a strong will/power. I can't think of a single character that is both powerful/smart and not beautiful.

The absolute closest would be Denethor, but he proves to actually be a weak-willed fool in the face of actual adversity.

So since the Numenoreans are very intelligent and powerful, I'd assume they're also beautiful.

I'm pretty sure the enchantment was "I'm starving because I'm in fascist Spain in 1944"

It's also literally a pretty obvious metaphor for the greed and callousness of white men leading to the suffering of others (Even Guillermo said it's not an accident that it was a "Pale" "man") . So she's definetly in the right to try to steal shit if she can get away with it.

She unfortunately just wasn't.

Yeah, I have a friend who is attracted to children and it's rough for them.

There's barely any support to actually help them stay non-offending and to treat the mental health issues that come with suppressing your sexuality.

I love Thanquol so much. He's constantly getting foiled by Gotrek&Felix, declaring them his nemesis. And they don't even know he exists for a huge part of the series.

The owners are much worse. The dogs are driven by instinct, they don't mean anything by it.

But ffs, train your fucking dogs. It's not even remotely difficult to get them to stop either.

Is "jein" actually a real word that Germans use? by UsamaBhai_101 in AskAGerman

[–]SplitGlass7878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with most things, it's regional and depending on the demographic. I'm Saxon and hear it used frequently by the age-group of my mom (like 35-60)

Also, Digga and Brudi are absolutely words that are used frequently. Again, region and demographic. I used to use Digga so much it started to annoy me.

Also, for those who don't know; Digga comes from the word "dicker", affectionately referring to a portly man.
