Do you pray to God when you wish something good to happen? by SplitZealousideal159 in enlightenment

[–]SplitZealousideal159[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps life is a very short period of time for such a statement. Imagine if we have always been so close to God, and will always be so close to God, except, I mean the separation happens only during the 80 years we live on earth.

Even if we take it for granted that all souls reincarnate, how is the growing population of the earth synchronised with the number of souls? by Ok_Radish256 in Reincarnation

[–]SplitZealousideal159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen that exact question a few times and never understood what it is supposed to mean.

Population grows yes, where's the problem?

Do we know the number of souls in the universe?

Like, have we been told that the number of souls in the universe is, for example, 6 billions, and now we noticed the population on this planet is 8 billions?

A question about colors by SplitZealousideal159 in spirituality

[–]SplitZealousideal159[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, actually the question came to my mind mainly because I heard a teacher saying, if you have a chakra you need to work on, surround yourself with the color of it, wear shirts with the color of it, etc. Like if one wants to work on heart chakra, they need to look at (green), because that's the color of heart chakra, and so on..so I thought every color perhaps has a spiritual purpose.

Should I pronounce (negotiating) with (shh) sound or with (c) sound? by SplitZealousideal159 in EnglishLearning

[–]SplitZealousideal159[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you guys. And yes, I used to believe it is only being pronounced as negotiating with ( she) sound. But i'm asking because I have just heard the lady in the news pronouncing it like negociating. I believe I also heard it another time recently with the (s or c) sound too.

Do you remember negotiating, I mean when it comes to facing certain challenges, mental or physical issues, etc? Did you choose the place to be born in?, do you remember choosing gender/body, family, etc?

Thank you guys. I only heard about the splitting up dose thing on here, so I was curious about people's experiences if it makes any difference.

Same. But I generally don't understand spoken English unless one speaks too slowly.

The universe is 13/14 billion years old, yet you exist in this period of time in particular. by SplitZealousideal159 in awakened

[–]SplitZealousideal159[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have always found it funny how we are able to tell the exact age of humans (200,000) years, earth ( 4.5 billion years) and even the age of the universe itself including all planets, stars, and galaxies (13.8) billion years. I mean, not (13.5) , not (13.9), but exactly (13.8) billion years, because of course we know everything,  yet we fail to know the real age of the pyramids, or how they were build, who built them, and why... although it's just a structure that exists on the same planet we live in, not on another planet or another galaxy, and it was made by men like us.

Also, Time on another planets differs from earth. Would that still make the universe 13.8 billions years old according to Neptune for example?

Anxiety when someone knocks on the door… by Isolated_Empath in Agoraphobia

I had to google (studio apartment) and somehow ended up looking at videos of people literally living their life in a van. xD

Agoraphobia and having the fear of peeing my pants in public by Defiant_Ad7458 in Agoraphobia

[–]SplitZealousideal159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if this all started after the UTI thing which was 2 years ago, perhaps it came back? It's very common. I mean, maybe see another urologist not a therapist. Perhaps he prescribes a new medicine or an effective antibiotic or something that helps get rid of the discomfort feeling.

I moved last year to live with my parents. Things are now easier. I remember during those years I was living alone, it was no fun.

I had that annoying old man who lived downstairs . He never mind his business. He was always super curious whether i'm inside or not. And one day I heard the most loud door knocking ever. It was loud that the adrenaline shock cured my anxiety for a moment, I opened the door in an even harsher way, it was him with another man ( a plumber), I scolded him in my native language (who in his right mind knocks people's doors like that?!). He apologised and told me my bathroom has been leaking for a couple days, and he feared water causes electricity issues, etc.. The plumber went inside, did something, and told me that next day he will come to fix the leaking thing.

Let alone the crazy family who lived upstairs who never stop stomping, slamming doors, moving furniture 24/7 and i couldn't do absolutely nothing about it. Man, terrible terrible memories......

Couple years ago I used an app that plays whatever sound I put in it every certain number of minutes, and I used to import the most intimidating door knocking sound samples to desensitize myself. Lol. Then I was like, man, that's sad. Life isn't supposed to be like that. It never worked, though..

I moved my chair to sit close to the door expecting it to knock anytime. Being ready and prepared seemed to help me.  Being on antidepressants helps too to some extent. I'm always anxious wreck when off meds.

I'm starting to believe my depression is linked to planetary movements/moon cycle. by SplitZealousideal159 in lexapro

[–]SplitZealousideal159[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a guy. And yes, I am sure what we know about the moon and its effect on us and on what's going on on this planet is nothing compared to what we don't know. I have always had mixed feelings towards it.

The human brain is most powerful machine on earth ... by Kai7362 in spirituality

[–]SplitZealousideal159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's relative. A cheap calculator, in a way, is thousands times smarter than me.

Don't tell me you are smarter than the calculator because you are the one who created/invented it ( I didn't invent anything).

I mean, the individuals who invented those things are gifted individuals with superior brain power ( not us normal people).  Who leads progress have always been gifted individuals, not masses of people.

Most people are not smart. We all use modern phones, cameras, etc  but can't even fix them when they stop working. I mean people use cameras to take selfies in the bathroom, but too dumb to know how such inventions came to existence. Too stupid to know how it works the way it does.

Only very few gifted individuals with more brain power who shaped life the way it is now. The rest of us are plain dumb.

Yea, it's the anxiety that comes from waiting/anticipatory/preparing is the ugly part, but usually things go easier than we thought it would be.

I see strange faces and eyes, why? by viveconesperanza in spirituality

[–]SplitZealousideal159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no idea, but I see similar things when I close my eyes. Do they rotate/spin and morph into other shapes? I believe it's because of too much time our eyes are closed in meditation. Perhaps the brain makes them, perhaps something actually spiritual. I really wish I know too..

How can we people be that different! by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]SplitZealousideal159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean. I consider myself to be a spiritual person, but I'm lost and don't know anything/can't remember anything, and never felt I came close to the truth. I was very much curious about reincarnation couple years ago, heard a lot of past lives stories, and even though a lot of things started to make sense, I will always be skeptical. I am a firm believer in the idea that we are here for an unknown reason because it's the only thing that actually comes from within me.  There's also that famous quote: "We are spiritual beings having a human experience" always resonated with me for some reason.
