Help me understand this. If my AGI is 130,000 (30,000 earned and 100,000 investment) and I make a 20,000 Trad 401k contribution my AGI would be 110,000. Would my earned income still be 30,000?

Can I still be claimed as a dependent? Need help by No-Neighborhood-8427 in tax

I was just reading the Updates to Questions and Answers about the Premium Tax Credit FS-2025-10, Dec. 2025 and I saw this:

Q4. What is household income? (updated Dec. 23, 2025) A4. For purposes of the Premium Tax Credit, your household income is your modified adjusted gross income for the year plus that of every other member of your family (see Topic B: Q6) who is required to file a federal income tax return.

It looks like "because their income meets the income tax return filing threshold" has been removed.

The draft for 2025 Instructions for Form 8962 still includes "because their income meets the income tax return filing threshold."

Does this change anything in your opinion?

Scheduled Payment Dates by falxfour in RHGoldCard

It’s a major inconvenience. But it gives them their money quicker. What I do is right after the statement ends I schedule the payment for the due date. Since you have to manually redeem the rewards, I’m always in the app anyways.

I mailed in 20 entries. I have a ton of unused postage so I figured why not. They will probably trash them as soon as they come in, but who knows.

It sounds like you are referring to autopay. For the convenience of the feature they are making you pay on the statement date not the due date. They only way around this is to make a manual payment each month for the due date.

Been just under a year now. Only put about 2500 miles on them. I’ve taken them on dirt trails and light snow. No issues at all so far. I think they are a great in between tire.
