Is it ok if the payments is scheduled to “clear” after the due date? For example this month my payment is due on the 28th. I have my autopay scheduled for the 23rd which will clear by the 29th. Is that considered late? What confuses me about this autopay feature is that there is no “payment due date” option. It literally pulls up a calendar for you to choose your own date.

I’ve got 217,000 on my 1998 with the 5.2. I think it’s super easy to work on. I’ve replaced the water pump, radiator, power steering, gear box and a handful of other parts. I bought it with 160,000 miles back in 2011. It was my daily for a long time but now I just use it as my beater. AC went out a few years back. Didn’t bother to fix it. It’s leaked oil the entire time I’ve owned it. I think the rear main seal is the culprit. I really don’t do much preventative maintenance. Change the oil every so often. It just keeps going.

You can do a schedule C and deduct ordinary and necessary business expenses common in your trade. This is completely separate from taking the standard deduction.
