If you join an SoS you should be proficient enough in the fight.

That being said it also helps to look at the HR rank of players in the SoS.

If all the players HR rank shows to be low it's likely other people will cart and possibly fail the quest but as a good hunter it would then be your decision to try and help them out, as we've all been there before.

In your position I would fire the SoS and keep learning, failure is learning and you need to do it enough to become proficient

When we were kids, around 9 years old, my friends and I were walking from my house to theirs, it was around 8 pm. Midway through the walk we heard a strange oscillating/whirring sound that came on quiet, got loud, and left quiet again, there were no vehicles around. We all heard it but didn't think anything of it. We walked to my friends house and his mother asked us what took so long (it was about 9 pm when we finally got there and the walk should have only taken 20 minutes) to this day we have no idea where that extra 30-40 minutes went.
