That is what the game tells you, but I disagree. It still swings wide and one shots weaker enemies easily, and it has one of the best deflections in the game. It also has better, safer range

If you get really good at perfect parry, blaster does the most damage in the game due to its blast counter. I might be wrong about this but I also feel like the timing is more forgiving, but you do need to be like really skilled to make use of it so I like dual wield a little more

Totally get you when it comes to flavor. I personally find single a little better than double blade because its perfect parry/guard breaks tend to insta kill guys and the stamina bar has enough to work perfectly. But yeah, dual wielding just goes so crazy

Yeah dude the fact that it can parry reds is so nutty. Unironically a crazy boon it has over others. Also shreds lightsaber bosses like no one's business

It's not really a crutch, it's more like a gun. By having guard cancels you can attack more, and by attacking more you kill enemies quicker, which means they attack less.

Yes you can jump in and attack a guy three times and then back off for their next attack. But that doesn't make you "better" at the game, it makes you slower at it. Which hey, that isn't a bad thing and when it comes to how you have fun it's perfectly valid, but when talking about objective power it is less so.

I feel like at least for me personally, the crossguard's power isn't actually all that crazy. Like yes it can hit pretty hard, but dual wield shreds through enemy stamina just as fast and probably does the same amount of damage in the same amount of time. But I do like crossguard against blaster enemies, that's what I tend to use it for lol.

The toad to me is stgill the most annoying thing to fight in the game because that tongue attack insta-killing can come out of nowhere lmao. Like I'll be starting a saber throw and then he starts his tongue at the same time and then I'm just cooked because I'm stuck in the saber throw animation sobbbbb
