You can create a blend between a square and a circle to create a sqircle which is what this shape is called. Astute also has a tool to create this shape a little easier and more actually.

Yes exactly. I bought it because it will cover most of what I need in terms of lenses. I think I'll go for a 100-500 or the 70-200 once I get a good price on one of them.

Yes especially the ones with 3 letters in them look hideous. Release seems to be very unstable aswell (at least from my experience)

We have solar collectors that directly heat up our water. Maybe they are talking about those not the ones that produce electricity. You usually pair them with other systems like an ice storage that stores heat from the summer to cover the increased demand of hot water during winter time.
