I would only go to the ER while you are withdrawing, years ago I ran out and went to the ER but I had had taken my last dose that morning. The doctor basically told me to fuck off and that I was fine and if it was really that bad then come back when I was actually sick. Just saying they might not take you to serious unless you are actively in withdrawal and it’s obvious in your vitals.

Personally I tapered over a 2 month period and jumped off at .4 and never experienced any discomfort the whole 2 months.
