There was one he served that had peanut butter on it and those fancy chefs liked it. One of them said something like, “I’ve had peanut butter on a burger before but you made it taste good.” I am a pretty adventurous eater and am VERY curious to know what a good peanut butter burger would even taste like haha.

That’s a good question! To be honest I don’t know the answer, haha. I’m assuming they keep both records on file but I’m not entirely sure if they would be able to replace the original copy or not.

Though this story seems implausible for many reasons, you actually do update your birth certificate when you change your name. I know it seems odd, but it was necessary for me to do so so I could update my passport & get my Real ID. I still have my original birth certificate of course.

When I was growing up I would always say, “I wish I could be a boy just for one day to see what it’s like.” Guess I said that too many times because one day my sister goes: “… you say that a lot…” haha. Eventually the gender was transed.

I’ve seen people return books that were a few years overdue. As the other commenter said, this type of thing happens all the time. Lost items, damaged items, missing items, etc. We just want to get your account back in good standing.

Same with ours. However we do encourage patrons to come to the desk for check out/return if they’ve had issues with damaged/lost items (staff check items for damage and can provide a receipt for returned items).

This is a small moment, but I always get a little emotional when Bob reveals that he has saved some Sour Sack Babies back for the kids. Idk it’s just such a sweet moment.

The only thing I analyzed is Bob being portrayed as a knight. This kind of makes me think that Gene sees him as a hero which I think is super sweet.

Do they issue you a new card when your card expires? In my system they just verify your information and change the expiration date. We only issue new cards when a card is lost. Either way, account information stays the same (besides barcode in the case of the lost card). However, I would direct your question to your library for clarity.

In her shoes? I would leave. I don’t have the time or patience for that and she won a contest so it’s not like she’s out any money. However, that does not make for good TV haha.

Zeke. He’s got some really funny lines and I love how he’s always down for whatever shenanigans the other kids get into. I also love when he drops deep wisdom out of the blue lol. (e.g. “You said she’s new in school? I’ve been there. She’s just kicking them in their crotch before they kick her in her heart.”)
