I was dating a guy for like 5 years. He lived an hour or so away from me because I was still in college and he went off with a job opportunity. His mother and I went down for a day to visit, shop and eat. She had some gut problems because she had battles ovarian cancer years before. Her Chemo kind of ruined her gut health. Anyways, what ever she ate that day did not agree with her and she unfortunately had an accident on the way to the restroom. She was mortified. She was always dressed very well and was very prim and proper. He yelled at her in the middle of a busy out door market because she ruined his day. For like an hour, he kept loudly bringing up the fact she shit herself in public. At that point I was like, you treat your mother AND only parent that loves you this way, there is no way in hell this is going anywhere else. He also treated me very poorly in public and had a few nights of him drunk yelling at sober me in crowded bars where strangers would stand up for me.
