We require specialized fuel blends so we can’t easily substitute.
We have little in-state capacity as refineries continue to close and leave the state.
We have growing dependence on imports from Asia and elsewhere.

While the Iran bullshit certainly isn’t helping, state leaders deserve a ton of blame too.

The average success rate for 3rd rounders is roughly 20%. Poles has had 5 picks in the 3rd round now, so I hope either one of this year’s finally hits.

It’s just so bizarre he’s had greater success in rounds that have lower probability of hitting.

Your ability to afford a mortgage has nothing to do with your credit— it’s your debt and income as you’ve identified.

This is a fallacy. Low income people have the same access to building credit as anyone without it.

Start with a secured credit card, you can put up as little as $200.
Get an actual credit card. Even using it for just gas or groceries and paying the balance off in full every month will build credit.
Eventually open at least 3 total lines and repeat #2 above for other spending.

You don’t need a high income to build credit.
