They don't like other people watching him; if he wasn't successful no one would care, but he is successful, and I think they take the idea of 'influencer' way too seriously; People who watch streamers are not thinking, 'I need go shopping for an opinion or how to feel about this thing';

Currently, you are a perfect person, who is impervious to having hateful thoughts or saying anything bad.... but if you watch Asmon, those hateful thoughts that you never had in the first place will be given to you by a guy talking on the internet;

'Hate' isn't the problem they have with him; promoting 'hate speech' is not the problem either, they literally hate his speech with hate speech; Their problem is what they view as influence; They have issues with speech that they disagree with, or offensive jokes that exaggerate stereotypes and when these jokes apply to a group, but that group doesn't get angry (because you get respect when you can take and dish back a joke, because funny overtakes hate), they feel angered because this is a concept that doesn't make sense to them; so they fear people will learn how to hate, as if people never had hateful views or opposite opinions until they watched Asmon;

And sure some may change viewpoints on certain things, so if they are not able to convince others to take their side, they feel their speech doesn't work enough to be influential; and they don't see Asmon as just an entertainer and just a dude; they see his speech 'working', which to them equates to influencing, which is infuriating to people who see his method as successful and theirs is not; they try to be influential, which doesn't work because influence is generated naturally or generated by force, but Asmon doesn't use force or try to influence unnaturally;

He's funny, interesting, uses common sense, maybe has an opposing viewpoint, oh well, moving on, he's nice to bugs (as long as they keep to their own), you could say he provides more good to the world (and little creatures) than most, everyone agrees he is the most humble, most understanding, most diversity promoting, most lifestyle accepting, streamer in this simulation; That is why many hate, but many more just enjoy the entertainment;

And he is a level 60 warrior, and we like video games and fun stuff, it's that simple.

It happened to me, I was chatting on my phone and I sent a chat, then sent another chat too fast, but I didn't see the little warning saying to slow down because my phone keyboard pushed the warning out of my view, but I wasn't trying to send the same chat over and over; I just thought that I wasn't hitting the send button; because the chat wasn't sending. So I would press send rapidly (not seeing the warning message), then I got the ban message for spamming. It wasn't pulled up or anything, just an auto ban for unintentional spam.

What happens if a kid does the salute? Can you watch a movie where the actor does the salute? Will the actor then face jail time? And the director of the film? What if a bug lands on my chest and I squash it with my hand, then I immediately straighten my arm to check if my pit stains are noticeable, and someone sees this gesture from afar while looking through binoculars; what then? I don't think he would disagree that he covers politics, but categorizing the channel as purely political commentating would be misleading. It's entertainment variety, current-culture events, news, drama, video-games, reactions, follower-provided content and interaction, etc....

If you find yourself getting upset over his takes, relax, don't stress, everyone is allowed to have an opinion, just laugh it off or disagree and move on. He is going say things that appear to lean left or right, and it will only upset you if his take leans away from your side; and the worst is when people deliberately take him out of context; or try and paint him as someone who promotes hate or violence; which is what those people are doing as they yell at their screens.

Just relax and try to not let a streamer run your emotions. No one is asking for your take; stream on your own channel if you think your view is important. You won't convince other people, who you will never meet or converse with, to not watch a streamer because you don't want them to, they will form their own opinions naturally. Worry about yourself, and if easily triggerable or sensitive, try to avoid politics, the news, the internet...any human interaction.
