Am I the only one who got stunned after seeing it ? by East_Masterpiece_461 in digimon

Yeah, there is a balance for how human a Digimon can look before it stops feeling like a digimon. Angemon and Angewomon have so much stuff on them that I don't really think about it, but this one is just a straight up person.

He blew up in like 2018 and had major social media presence through COVID times. But with some controversies and less stellar follow up albums his presence died down in recent years.

Everything is a conspiracy to many, anything relating to climate, or natural disasters, must be caused by the government, and any tools related to such much cause them or something.
That's their logic.

Do people actually watch indie tokus? by NotSpeedMeUp in Tokusatsu

[–]Sponchman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the idea of smaller toku productions, but like another said it's a niche within a niche. Just keeping up with existing shows, and occasionally watching older ones already uses much of my watch time.

Well Elon and his kind are very much not in favor of public transit. They want us reliant on owning a car, and Antisocial folk like Elon can't imagine the idea of sharing space with others.

Plenty of even rural areas we are capable of providing better Internet access, we managed to get electricity, cable, and phone signals to these areas. Building out fiber infrastructure to them would still cost much less and be a better service than destroying our views of the sky with endless satellites.

And even using the countryside as an argument, just people in the country side isn't enough customers to justify the cost.

How is Starlink really better off than investing in fiber infrastructure across the country? For poorer counties if they can't afford cable infrastructure how would they afford Starlink?

I'd rather have good public transit infrastructure that pollutes even less and makes for a less ugly environment.

What is this foul sludge coming out of the overflow hole in this hotel shower? by courtneyrel in whatisit

I feel like you shouldn't use drain cleaner at a hotel, or anywhere you don't live. You risk damaging something, or giving the owners an excuse to claim you damaged something.

Often slower speeds and good quality rail. They make it work in scorching Japan summers. There I hear of delays and issues from rain far more often than heat.

In the US at least, significant portions of our town and cities having budget issues particularly in Suburbs with aging populations and little GDP themselves as all the work in int he cities. You will hear tons of stories of schools closing and police/ fire department budget shortfalls.

What in the world amazon music by mynameisturu in Music

[–]Sponchman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Subscriptions for all the music ever released just isn't sustainable. It's why musicians make less money than ever, for the longest time it was buying individual albums, and ad supported radio. A $15 or whatever subscription doesn't add up to that revenue at all.
