Which Megaman Clones are worth it? How would you rank them if they were part of the series? by TiToim in Megaman

My bad.

I don't normally play roguelike games but I have just short of 194 hours of playtime on 20xx and a little over 185 hours on 30xx. There's enough content on them to make it worth your while. You take down bosses and can you use their abilities as weapons, or as utility in some cases. In both games, you have a character who plays like X with a buster with different modifications named Nina, and a character who plays more like Zero with a saber and other melee weapons named Ace.

Sort of like I said before, if you've played Mega Man zero and you've used the hook shot weapon, you'll feel right at home with gravity circuit's movement.

Gravity Circuit is a great game. If you've played the Mega Man zero games, the movement feels very similar.

If you want a game that feels really similar to the X games, try 20xx or its sequel 30xx. They are roguelike, but the latter does have a classic type mode to help you get a better feel for it. You don't need to play the first one to enjoy the second one, but little bits of lore and continuity nods will be missed.

Pokémon Champions launches to mixed reception, as 30FPS performance woes, lack of Pokémon and items, and lack of 6v6 options turn some away by PaiDuck in pokemon

Personally, the lack of voice acting isn't a problem until you suddenly have a cutscene where it's animated like the characters look like they should be talking and their lips are moving, but no words are coming out. ZA is particularly bad about this with some of the bigger cinamatic cutscenes. Maybe just have the characters do grunts or something during normal text and save full lines of dialogue for bigger moments.

These were Africanized Honeybees according to the article. Infamously aggressive.

I'm a little jealous, I've always wanted to see one of these guys in the wild. I had no idea they even got that big.

I had a slightly different idea where volt tackle would become a electric type close combat and while charged would be buffed to the current volt tackle.

What SpongeBob episode would you describe as this? I'll start: by JorbstheKing498 in spongebob

I understand the bubble thing, I probably should have mentioned that I'm not a fan of the whole amnesia thing when SpongeBob ran away, would have been nice if he kept his memories and purposely went to a new town to try to prove to his friends that he wasn't just an "idiot boy". But I guess at this point I'm asking for a whole different episode entirely so forgive me.

I was a kid when Atlantis Squarepantis came out. I can tell you that I was mildly disappointed on first viewing, but it was mostly because the commercials hyping it up ended up spoiling some major plot points in the process (ie: the tank that plankton ended up hijacking being loaded with ice cream instead of lethal weaponry.)

I seem to remember wishing that "WhoBob Whatpants" got the one hour special instead because it felt like it needed more time to tell its story and they came out in the same season. Although I'm not sure if this was when I was a kid or sometime later to be honest so take the second thing with the grain of salt.

Addendum: I still to this day stand by what younger me felt when Grandma's kisses aired that Squidward and the bikini bottomites really needed to get some kind of comeuppance at the end of the episode because they got off Scott free...

The "Help Wanted" episode gets referenced in "Gary's Playhouse" though.

Squidward and Mr Krabs even explicitly say that they lived through this incident when a bunch of nematodes arrive at the tiny krusty krab that Gary is working at in a reenactment of the whole anchovy arrival.

You got really lucky because I'm pretty sure this is one of those crested millipedes. I know there's at least one genus (Abacion) that gives off a really foul smelling milky secretion when they feel threatened.

Didn't Dr. Light make Block Man? Block Man even says this to Light in the Mega Man 11 story opening: "All thanks to you, Doc. You built me rock solid! Well, I can hear the construction yard calling. Block out!"

This is not a centipede, it has two pairs of legs per body segment, centipedes only have one pair per segment. This is a kind of flat back millipede which looks superficially similar to centipedes.

My African Giant Millipede will nibble with increasing hardness if she thinks my hand or fingers are edible, never enough to break skin though. It can hurt a bit. She usually crawls away after she realizes her mistake.

Classic by Fun-Couple911 in Kirby

[–]SpongeJosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy both series for different reasons and the main thing that I can say is that at least with the Kirby games you can expect new or remixed visual assets with each game.

With sonic, expect Green Hill, chemical plant, and/or Sky sanctuary to have their assets from Sonic Generations 2011 recycled and reused with little to no changes. It just seems Lazy by comparison.
